Authentic art and food experience

Pamela's local knowledge of street art and the local food scene was amazing, she took me to some delicious places and we tried some excellent dishes. Highlight was the Corviche!

Don’t call it after dark food walk - it is not

I enjoyed walking through La floreasta looking at the graffiti and being taken to a shop selling pictures but I don’t appreciate this being a sales pitch. Also tackling it a foodie trip is cutting it a bit fine!! Went to three food cafes all we had was yuca done in three different ways - a sausage and this was based on the tour guides predilections - he loved his food grabbed food , ate quickly questioned my eating, this was certainly not worth the money. And there was only one cocktail which was nice in a cute cafe. And having to wait for Ubers in the pouring rain. And no other attendees only me. It was quite frankly awful!!

Quintessential Quito

Wonderful evening. Santiago was extremely engaging, knowledgeable and eager to share this special Quito neighborhood. We loved the street murals and gallery visit as well as the delicious regional bites. Santiago’s extensive travel experience reflects a compassion and perspective beyond his years. We highly recommend this tour.

Santiago was a fabulous guide. He explained the history and culture of Ecuador in great detail and ensured we had an understanding of the artistic works in the area. He was knowledgeable and very fun to spend the evening with. The food was incredible as well as the drinks. It was an all around great experience.

Interesting, dissappointing, and overpriced.

The tour of the La Floresta street art was interesting and the food was mostly very good. Indeed, the tamales we had were some of the best. But on the whole, the tour is way overpriced. The total cost of the food could not have been more than $15 per person. We were offered beer or water at the art gallery but no beverages with any of the food. I can't recommend this tour.

Restaurants you'd never find on your own

Great food and interesting street art. He tailored our meals to our dietary needs (no red meat) and it was fun to eat with the locals without a tourist in sight. My only negative is that it's expensive for 2.5 hours and street food.

Excellent Tour - 100/10!

Best tour! My husband and I visited Quito on our way to Galapagos for our honeymoon. Santiago hosted us for a great walking, food, art, and cocktail tour. His passion for the city and culture really made an impact on us and we can’t wait to visit again!

Loved the art, the food and Santiago's company!

Santiago introduced me to delicious local foods in unique locations. We were in the Floresta neighborhood of Quito which is full of great street art. We also visited a fun art gallery. Santiago is very knowledgeable about many subjects. We finished the night with a glass of warm wine, a local custom.

I unexpectedly traveled with my mom via Houston. lol. Upon the meetup, we were hosted by Santi! He was definitely informative, knowledgeable & passionate about his native country of Ecuador. During the tour he took us to several spots in which we enjoyed all the food & learned about local art, politics & culture. I highly recommend this tour & Santi as he will give & provide food for thought!!
