Two good markets: the first, fruits and vegetables, and the second, a lot of souvenirs, clothing, etc. . Ample time to browse through both, and to stop for a coffee.
Nice trip to Quarteria. Great fruit, cookies and much more at the Fruit/vegetables market. Big Gypsy Market with so much stuff! Our bus driver was fun and we had a great time!
The Quarteira fruit market is a scandal in terms of fruit prices. Moreover, the lady from whom I bought fruit is on a pedestal, weighs the fruit, the customer has no access to the scale and pays what is requested. Uma prática pouco honesta de atender clientes. Exorbitant prices. Don't go to this market.

We will definitely do it again when we come back to visit Albufeira again. Market is a place for shoppers who like to pay less. Affordable souvenirs and not bad quality.

quarteira market is great but you need a bit more time there because the time they give you is not long because there are a lot of stalls there but still a great market
Seven passengers in large taxi. Driver very pleasant and jolly. Also gave a lot of information about the area. Would recommend as not easy to travel yourselves by buses!
Booked gypsy market trip. FRANCESCO was our driver, when he collected us, brought us on a surprise trip into quarteira, told us lots about the town, gave us an hour to wander around such a beautiful town, low prices at eateries, lots of shops. Fish market and fruit market are great. After that, FRANCESCO brought us on another surprise trip, a quick visit to vilamoura marina, very beautiful here, great marina to wander around. FRANCESCO is definitely a great driver to book with, very informative and interesting. One of the best trips I've had.
The Female bus station attendant in Quarteria verbally assaulted us and would not allow us to use the washroom. She pushed us out of the station screaming at the top of her lungs. She was discriminating about us not speaking Portuguese. She should be fired, just horrible!
