We booked to visit the ScapePark through a vendor at our resort. In comparison to booking several different activities individually, coming here was a good value. We did the Buggies, took photos with the parrots, saw the squirrel monkeys, walked through Iguanaland, did the EcoSplash zip line, and swam in the Blue Hole Cenote. Going on a Friday means there was less crowds. Pay attention to the schedule because certain activities are only available at certain times. It is advisable to bring a small lock to place your belongings in a locker, bring a waterproof pouch for your phone to hang around your neck and water shoes or comfortable sandals that will not come off your feet. The walk to the Blue Hole Cenote is almost half a mile trek through uneven jungle terrain. It's a beautiful walk but long, so if you have limited mobility or balance issues I suggest asking about the shuttle that will take you to the Blue Hole. The staff were all nice and answered questions. On a couple of the EcoSplash zipline platforms there was the distinct smell of marijuana. It is unknown if this smell was from the young men operating the zipline or if it was other guests. However, since the EcoSplash has you getting wet I have a hard time envisioning a guest carrying around a marijuana blunt, but that is purely my speculation. The people I went with tired quickly, were not fans of stairs and so we left on the 2:30pm bus back to our resort even though I would have wanted to explore further and get on the Superman zipline. Highly recommend staying all day to get your money's worth. The photo package will be more valuable the longer you stay and have photos taken.
This place was amazing, the kids enjoyed taking pictures with the monkeys and the parrots. They loved swimming in the blue hole. I believe the price was well worth the experience. Its definitely a big place that requires some walking but they do have someone who can bring you to different parts of the park.
A great day - so much to do! Note, there is a lot of walking to get to the center and the cave swim, the maps are not to scale. There are shuttles, so take advantage of that if hiking is not your style.
One of the best activities to do in Punta cana scape park got everything
I had an amazing experience on this tour! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and had a great time. The places we visited were absolutely beautiful, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. I truly appreciated the professionalism, attention to detail, and the positive atmosphere throughout the day. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience. Thank you for making this such a fantastic day—I would definitely do it again!
Went with my family to the park the park is very large with all sorts of activities to do. We walked to the blue water hole, wich was a long walk through the jungle. Zip line we fun aswell.
A great experience for all ages. It wasn't to crowd for the day I visited. The staff is helpful. All in all I'll do it again n maybe next time try do all the rides
I have visited many theme parks in natural settings (Xel-Há, Xcaret..). This one left my heart full! It mixes a wonderful wild natural environment, with trail hiking, natural caves, swimming holes, several small waterfalls, and in between, zip-line attractions—mostly—to enjoy from the air. I think it is only suitable for children 12 years and older. There are zip-line sections that are not as high or as long... up to the "superman" one that tested our courage and vertigo. Truly extreme. Many shaded rest areas to eat the picnic you can carry in a backpack. You rest while observing the natural spectacle you find yourself in. If you don't live in the Caribbean, you will be impressed by so much beauty! It is a place to return to again and again. The price-to-quality ratio of the ticket is fair. We bought them at the hotel with a small discount. For USD90 (depending on the package) we ended up with many photos that official photographers take at various attractions; they are a magnificent, professional-quality souvenir. Avoid carrying your phone; there is a risk of dropping and hitting it, as everything is wet. There are lockers and a souvenir shop, but no restaurant. A small kiosk for drinks and snacks. Enjoy the place, the birds, the silence in many spaces, and long walks to underground caves with water. A bus picked us up and returned us to the hotel (included in the ticket); it is very comfortable. You can bring a small bag with a picnic; there is a large area with chairs to sit in, very comfortable with a great view! Note that proper clothing is relevant: hiking shoes that you can get wet. No flip-flops, as they will fall off when flying on the zip-line; you walk quite a bit and everything is wet, including rocks, stairs, or damp wooden decks. Women: a one-piece or athletic-style swimsuit, a cotton t-shirt that gets wet, and athletic lycra shorts are the best outfit. Baseball cap yes, sunglasses no. There is plenty of shade. Nothing of high value since your things are left on open shelves without security that you go to pick up after the zip line. Attractions not suitable for people with reduced mobility. It is an action and physically demanding park if you want to enjoy everything. If an older adult goes, they can take it as a walk in a natural environment, rest, beautiful views. They will also enjoy it in their own way.
I have to say they were very accommodating because my husband wasn’t feeling well (due to over indulgence from the night before) the day we were suppose to go but they rescheduled us for the following day. They picked us up from the hotel and were dropped off at the entrance. We waited for a hour to get into the park. I think they needed more people to check in everyone waiting or if it was because we had to write our names and age on the form they had. We were told us we needed to purchase a lock to secure our items but honestly we could have carried our back pack and left it on the side by a rock or on a chair, like many people did. People were very respectful of items left on the side. This is a very active experience a lot of walking and going up and down stairs to do some of the activities. We had an amazing time and the places we saw were absolutely beautiful!! We truly enjoyed this excursion and highly recommend Scape Park!!
Left the hotel at 850, picked up 6-7 more hotel guests and didn’t arrive until 1045. Then the check in process took another 30min. We finally got in around 1130! Wish we had a full day vs half day bc they close at 430. Still had a blast! They nickel and dime you to death… so many “upgrades” or equipment needed to buy for things:
