Die Tagestour zur Puffing Billy Railway und zur Phillip Penguin Island ist eine sehr beliebte Tourkombination in Victoria, Australien. Zuerst können Besucher die Puffing Billy Railway erleben, einen historischen Dampfzug, der eine faszinierende Reise durch die Dandenong Ranges bietet. Eine Bahnfahrt bietet nicht nur ein einzigartiges nostalgisches Erlebnis, sondern ermöglicht es Ihnen auch, die natürliche Schönheit und die historischen Stätten entlang der Strecke zu genießen. Als nächstes fahren die Besucher nach Phillip Island, das für seine Pinguinparade berühmt ist. Jeden Abend kehren die kleinen blauen Pinguine aus dem Meer zu ihren Nestern auf der Insel zurück. Dies ist der spektakulärste Moment des Tages. Besucher können diese kleinen Pinguine auf der Aussichtsplattform des Phillip Island Nature Park beobachten, wie sie zurück ans Ufer taumeln. Dies ist eine warme und magische Szene.

Reiseverlauf
Wir verlassen die Stadt gegen 9 Uhr morgens und fahren zum Dampfzug Puffing Billy. Die Zugfahrt dauert ungefähr 1 Stunde und 15 Minuten.
Die Reisenden begeben sich auf eine 60-minütige Fahrt mit dem Dampfzug „Puffing Billy“ (einfache Fahrt) und haben eine 30-minütige Pause vor der Abfahrt des Zuges.
Nach der Fahrt mit dem Puffing Billy-Dampfzug setzen wir unsere Reise für etwa 1 Stunde und 30 Minuten fort, um den Maru Wildlife Park zu erreichen.
Wir werden etwa 30 Minuten brauchen, um die Schokoladenfabrik zu erreichen (je nach Zugfahrplan ist ein zufälliger Besuch möglich).
Nach dem Maru Park brauchen wir ungefähr 30 Minuten, um das Nobbies Centre zu erreichen.
Wir brauchen 30 Minuten zum Penguin View Park, um die Tickets abzuholen, und Sie haben etwa 45 Minuten Zeit für das Abendessen. Das Penguin Island Natural Ecological Reserve ist derzeit die größte Schutzstation für wilde Pinguine der Welt.
Wir werden etwa 2 Stunden zurück nach Melbourne brauchen

An unforgettable experience with an equally hospitable tour guide. Safe driving even in the craziest of rain showers! Visited several iconic locations in Victoria, making for a very memorable anniversary. Looking forward to the next year.
Our driver and leader Michael very professional and friendly, the day encountered steam small train bad without opening, he was also very helpful to help us take the day's journey, added a couple points, very careful explanation, very friendly attitude, although meeting the small train not opened, everyone very disappointed, but because of Michael's attitude, we are still in disappointment, have a very happy time.
We were incredibly fortunate to have David Chen as our guide. He was professional, patient, and trustworthy. His time management was excellent, and his explanations were clear and detailed. At every stop on the itinerary, he carefully explained all the important details and precautions, ensuring that everyone knew what to expect and how to stay safe. He also shared insightful information about the local culture, answered every question thoroughly, and made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. The vehicle was new, clean, and comfortable, adding to the overall comfort of the trip. (The day before, I called David to confirm the pick-up location, and he promptly returned my call, which gave me great peace of mind.) I highly recommend David Chen as your guide if you’re planning to join this tour!
We had an amazing time on this tour! Our guide, David Chen, was super friendly and really knew his stuff, making the whole trip to Puffing Billy and Philip Island so enjoyable. The steam train ride was such a fun experience, and seeing the penguins at Philip Island was absolutely unforgettable. Everything was really well-organized, and David went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had the best spots to enjoy the views. I’d totally recommend this tour—definitely a 5-star experience!
A 10/10 wonderful tour! We had a great experience on everything listed on the itinerary and as scheduled. Bob is the best - he is very experienced and easygoing, always had a smile on his face throughout the trip, and went extra miles just to ensure we had the greatest possible experience. My parents have walking problems due to old age and Bob had been very considerate to accomodate their needs. I can’t recommend him enough. Overall tour was good, the train was exciting and the penguins were cute. Important point is that the tour guide only said Chienese for whole day even I chose English. The guide cannot say English well, so he made other customers to translate what he said - which was not correct though - and only informed me when to come back. I cannot understand any explanation that day and was disappointed. I lost the group few times since I wasn't informed properly about the plan. After the tour, I requested the partial refund for language issue but the tour guide answered that he used English, but due to my lack of English proficiency, I didn't understand what he's saying. WHAT? It's an insult to the customer, feeling very bad. Contacting several times via phone call(cuz I can speak English fluently), I finally got partial refund. Anyway, I recommend not to choose this tour if you cannot speak Chinese. I don't know why there's option for choosing English.

The Puffing Billy Trip was beautiful and the views were exhilarating ! The drive through Emerald and sights around the Lake were breathtaking and so refreshing ! So also the stop at Maru National Wildlife Park, the drive to the Nobbies & walk around, and the Penguin Parade - all showed us a side of Melbourne that we would never have imagined. An action- packed day out on the whole, well worth the cost of the Tour !! Our Tour Guide - Michael, was very informative, knowledgeable, entertaining and patient - making the trip twice as more enjoyable and memorable !!
