La Caldera - 30 Minuten Das Erholungsgebiet La Caldera befindet sich im Hochland von La Orotava, gleich hinter dem Viertel Aguamansa. Es ist eines der umfassendsten Erholungsgebiete im Norden Teneriffas und zieht das ganze Jahr über eine große Anzahl von Besuchern an. La Caldera bietet mehrere Annehmlichkeiten, darunter Parkplätze, ein Bar-Restaurant, einen großen Spielplatz, öffentliche Toiletten (ohne Duschen), Grills, Tische und einen Campingplatz. Dieses Naherholungsgebiet ist Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche Wanderwege in der Umgebung. Höhe: 1000 Meter.
Er verläuft entlang des Siete Cañadas Trail, einem Abschnitt des historischen Camino Real de Chasna, der einst die Regionen am Südhang der Insel mit dem Orotava-Tal im Norden verband. Es handelt sich um einen flachen Pfad mit wenigen Anstiegen oder Abfahrten, der entlang eines großen Teils der Innenwand des Circo de las Cañadas verläuft, zwischen den scharfen Steilhängen und Ödgebieten der jüngsten Eruptionen, durch die mehreren Sedimentebenen oder Cañadas, die dem Pfad seinen Namen geben. Eine ausgedehnte Route, die uns auf ihren 16 Kilometern vulkanische Landschaften von großer Schönheit und geologischem Interesse bieten wird, die durch die endemische Flora des Farbfouls (besonders im Frühling) verstärkt und vom allgegenwärtigen Vulkan Teide geschmückt werden.
1 - Stunde – Berg Teide Diese kurze Tour führt Sie zu einer der spektakulärsten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Kanarischen Inseln : dem Teide, Spaniens höchstem Gipfel und dem Herzen des Teide-Nationalparks. Direkt an der Basis eines Riesen Sie stehen am Fuße dieses alten Vulkans, umgeben von einer surrealen Landschaft, die von Jahrhunderten von Eruptionen geprägt ist. Von diesem Punkt aus können Sie die 3.715 Meter hohe Höhe des Teide, der über Ihnen thront, voll und ganz erkennen – es ist, als würde man auf einen anderen Planeten schauen. Lavafelder & mondähnliches Gelände Der Boden unter Ihren Füßen besteht aus gefrorenen Lavaströmen, seltsamen Felsformationen und lebhaften Vulkanfarben, die perfekt zum Fotografieren oder einfach nur zum Genießen der Aussicht sind. This was a great experience. We did not notice it was from the other side of island. Kenneth our guide made arrangments to pick us up for a very fair surcharge. It was well worth it. They even had gloves and jackets which were a must. Really one of best tours we have done!

I booked this tour expecting a good experience, but it was all a great disappointment. First, the description did not indicate that it was mandatory to have a driver’s license, which I found out only after I had paid. Other companies do specify this clearly, but not in this one. After making the reservation (for the morning, as it appeared in the offer), I was informed that they could not do it at that time and that the activity would have to be done in the afternoon, during evening hours, which also has a higher price. Not only that: I was told that I had to pay an extra €130 because they couldn’t offer me the 4-seater buggy with the guide, and that the only option was to do the tour with two 2-seater buggies, with two different guides, and paying €130 extra which totally changed the experience I had contracted with my companion. I tried to cancel the reservation less than an hour after I made it, seeing that it was not possible to make it in the original conditions. Still, they refused to refund the 189€ I paid. I have contacted customer support, explained with evidence what happened (including screenshots), and their only response has been to repeat that they will not return my money. An unprofessional company, which modifies the conditions after purchase, does not inform correctly, and is not responsible. I don't recommend it at all.
Hello Good afternoon, we are really sorry to hear that you are not happy, but as we been professional and available to talk over the phone with you for 1 hour we are going to explain again the situation here. In the description and extra details is clearly stated that you need a driving license, in our message after reservation is clearly stated that you need a driving license, you book an excursion with a veichle Buggy Double for 2 person expecting that someone drive for you, the veichle are drived by customer, but even if we want to help, if you book a double buggy and you are two people where driver should sit? We found a driver that help you with that even if private driver is not included, the buggy four seat have a different cost that should be not paid by us that we got paid for a double buggy. Cancellation within the 24 hours is not possible so we offer a 50% discount on the next ride that is the only things we can do. We hope to see you again.

The whole experience was so easy to organise! Constant contact from the organisers and owners. Picked up from the hotel and driven to the pickup point! The buggies were fantastically noisy and great fun to drive. We were chaperoned all the way with the lead car stopping traffic along the way. Incredible views as we assented the Volcano and part way up it look like we were in Arizona! The tour guide was polite and gave a talk at the top. Photos were taken and the journey back was fun! Highly recommend this to everyone!
