Weingüter in der Provence und Ortschaften des Luberon Tagestour ab Aix-en-Provence

I booked this through the Aix-en-Provence Tourism Office. After a week of bachelorette and wedding festivities, I wanted to stay in one place (Aix) and explore the Luberon on a guided tour instead of driving or hopping around - and it was the perfect choice. Great wine tasting in the morning, three beautiful villages (Lourmarin, Roussillon, and Gordes) in the afternoon, and Greg was a fun, thoughtful, and incredibly knowledgeable guide. A long day, but absolutely worth it.

10/10 for our tour guide Susanna! She is was knowledgeable, friendly, and was excellent all around. It’s a long day, you do the wine tasting in the morning (9am), have a break back in Aix and then do the villages in the afternoon and back to Aix around 7pm. If you’re up for a full day, book it - you won’t be dissapointed. Van was clean, comfortable and air conditioned.

We had an excellent experience with Greg and highly recommend booking a tour with him. From the moment he picked us up he lead our tour with deep knowledge, tailored the experience to our needs and was extremely personable. He seamlessly navigated the day with professionalism and warmth. He was a pleasure to spend the day with.

Greg was a fantastic tour guide full of information and we saw beautiful villages and Greg took great pictures of us in the lavender fields and also Gordes as a back drop . He's a lot of fun and kept us on schedule!

Great wineries and morning. Was a fun experience getting out of the city and understanding the local wines, especially the rosé. Bought a couple to enjoy with our meals. We weren’t feeling well, so left after the morning part when is stopped back in Aix, but it wasn’t because of the tour.

Our tour driver, Greg, was excellent. He spoke perfect English and was very knowledgeable about the region and wine industry. He has a nice sense of humor and is entertaining. The van was very comfortable. It is a full 10 hours but packed with wine tasting, beautiful scenery and villages, so it goes fast. As it is a long day, wear comfortable clothes and shoes, and bring water and snacks-none are provided.

Was one of the best excursions I have had. Not only did we get to see a lot, I learned about culture, wine, and scenery. Our tour guide Celestine was truly such a wonderful person and was relatable and knowledgeable about the entirety of our tour. The wineries we visited were top notch with one being more modern and the other being a generational winery that was beautiful. After this, the Luberon section was tastefully done and didn’t feel too long or too short. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to optimize their time in France and learn and experience as much as possible. Additionally, one last shout out to Celestine, you truly were such a delight!

Our tour guide JC was PHENOMENAL! The general mood of the group was adventurous and excited. Everyone had a great time! We especially appreciated JC’s knowledge of each location.
