Unsere Guides sind erfahren und sachkundig und nehmen Sie mit auf eine Reise durch den Nachthimmel. Lernen Sie den Norden und die Lage unserer saisonalen Dreiecke, Sternbilder und Planeten kennen. Mit leistungsstarken Laserpointern bieten wir Ihnen ein unterhaltsames und schulisches Erlebnis mit Geschichten über antike Zivilisationen, griechische Mythologie und die Evolution des Kosmos. Unsere Teleskope werden mit einer Tastatur bedient und sind so einfach zu bedienen wie das Senden eines Textes. Teleskope sind mit unserer Objektliste für die Nacht vorprogrammiert. Ein Tastendruck auf der Tastatur bewegt das Teleskop zum nächsten Objekt. Folgende Objektarten und -klassen werden regelmäßig von uns gesichtet: Galaxien, Nebel, Sternhaufen, Doppel- und Binärsterne, Planeten, Erdmond, Kugelsternhaufen, Kometen und mehr. Abhängig vom Zeitplan können die Züge der Internationalen Raumstation (ISS) und Starlink über Kopf vorbeifahren.

Stargazing Moab freut sich, Sie, Familie und Freunde für einen unterhaltsamen Abend der Sternenbeobachtung und Astronomie unter dem international zertifizierten dunklen Himmel von Moab, UT zu empfangen. Beginnend mit einem kurzen Spaziergang durch ein maßstabsgetreues Modell unseres Sonnensystems werden unsere Guides Sie mit unseren Nachbarplaneten vertraut machen, wenn die astronomische Dämmerung einsetzt. Jeder Gast sitzt in seiner eigenen Schwerelosigkeitskapsel mit Decke und Fernglas. Diese Pods passen sich Ihrem Körper an und eliminieren Druckstellen, um den sternengefüllten Himmel bequem und einfach zu sehen. Unsere Astronomieführer präsentieren ein 2-stündiges Programm, das modernste Teleskope und Laserpointer beinhaltet, um Sie um die Sternbilder und Objekte des Nachthimmels zu führen. Mit unseren leistungsstarken Teleskopen bieten wir unseren Gästen auch einen hautnahen Blick auf Himmelsobjekte (Galaxien, Nebel, Sternhaufen). Heiße Getränke wie heiße Schokolade, Kaffee und Tee sind ebenfalls vorhanden.

Devon and Kramer were fantastic! Very insightful, energetic and great communicators. The skies were clear and the show amazing. Highly recommended.
This was an excellent evening activity! Devin has a fun way of delivering lots of information that makes it very interesting for all. They have a top notch setup, including several telescopes, a hot chocolate and coffee stand, binoculars, and bean bag lounges with blankets. We highly recommend this while in Moab!

The event is hosted by Devon a very educated and entertaining astronomer! I learned so much while being thoroughly entertained. Additionally her camera/telescope assistants were also very professional and well prepared. My husband (who loves studying the stars/space) and I loved it!

I was visting Moab on an Amtrak vacations 4 ( read: no car). I thought i could maybe take a rideshare to/from the tour location. Unfortunately the nature of ride-shares meant I didn’t find out nothing was available to take me until it was time to leave. Upon finding out (about an hour or so before the start time) I tried to repeatedly contact the operator to let them know of the problem and need to get transport or cancel. I received no response. It was only sometime after tour start that I received a “where are you” call that I was able to explain the situation. I was told they do offer a shuttle service to the tour site, but nothing on this page or their website says that. Rather it says they do not provide any transportation. I have yet to hear anything back about a refund or compensation despite the phone call referring to such possibility. Overall ability to communicate with operator in case of a problem was really poor and caused me to waist $200+ of money with no recourse.

Amazing!!! Absolutely fantastic. Devon was the BEST guide to the stars ever! As an astronomer, she pointed out the constellations, told the stories, and showed us distant galaxies with digital telescopes. Truly an amazing experience. We did this stargazing excursion, rafting, and canyoneering. This is tied for first! Highly recommend!
