Der Plattensee ist die Essenz der ungarischen ländlichen Schönheit. Ungarns Version von Provance. Sie werden atemberaubende Aussichten, winzige Dörfer mit jahrhundertealten weiß getünchten Häusern und erstaunliche Formationen der Natur genießen. Wir passieren die wunderschön renovierte Abtei von Tihany, die vor 1000 Jahren gegründet wurde. Für 8 Euro pro Person können wir uns das schicke barocke Interieur ansehen. Die Tour ist gefüllt mit Schönheiten, interessanter Geschichte und (wenn Sie sich anmelden, indem Sie uns eine Nachricht senden) sehr gutem Wein! Die Aussicht, die großartige Gastronomie, die frischen Weine, der Charme der Dörfer und das historische und architektonische Erbe der Region sind gute Gründe für einen Ausflug hierher. Diese Tour ist gerade die schönste. Schöne Frühlingsfarben, mit vielen Blumen, perfektes Wetter. Erster Halt : Wir halten an einem schönen, malerischen Ort am Balaton. Dies ist in der Regel ein kurzer 5-10 Minuten Stop. Die angegebene 90-Minuten-Zeit beinhaltet auch die Fahrzeit.
Ein unvergesslicher Blick auf den Plattensee. Der See ist im Oktober am schönsten, mit erstaunlichen Herbstfarben, besonders an sonnigen Tagen.
Wir fahren Sie dann nach Balatonfüred, um diese noble Stadt mit vielen Villen und einer malerischen Promenade zu sehen. Das hübsche Zentrum und die schönen Villen und Villen werden Ihnen sehr wahrscheinlich das Herz stehlen!
Spazieren Sie durch die Straßen des schönsten Dorfes Ungarns. Sie können auch die berühmten Produkte der Region probieren, wie Lavendelbier, Lavendellimonade, Lavendelschokolade, Lavendelgelato …
Das Kloster wurde vor fast tausend Jahren gegründet. Die wunderschön verzierte Barockkirche können wir uns auch von innen anschauen, wenn wir eine Eintrittskarte kaufen (8 Euro pro Person). Dabei haben wir auch die Möglichkeit, uns die Ausstellung zur Geschichte des Klosters anzusehen.
Den Heimweg nehmen wir mit der Fähre, die den See überquert.

Auti was right on time picking us up at our hotel. He was a great driver and told us interesting things about Hungary. We had a lovely lunch overlooking Lake Balaton in Tihanyi a beautiful village where lavender grows. The village was nice to walk around and the monastery was a beautiful sight as well. For those who want to briefly and thoroughly know the area of Lake Balton, this is the way. A trip of just over an hour, boarding the car on a ferry, visiting the major towns of the peninsula, Tiananmen and Baltonford. In October this was a time off for a seaside holiday that was quite cold. But the throwing colors are lovely. The driver Attila was excellent. Recommended a restaurant among the groves. It was great. Not very expensive. Drive carefully and safely.

We had the most amazing experience with our guide, Balazs, on a day trip from Budapest to Lake Balaton. He picked us up in his beautifully restored 1965 mint green Volvo, which was such a unique and fun way to start the journey. Driving through Hungary in this epic classic car made us feel like celebrities — even coming from Hollywood, California, people were snapping photos of us everywhere we went! Balazs is a fantastic guide – knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about sharing his local history and culture. Along the way, he gave us fascinating insights into both Budapest and Balaton, and he always made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. He took us to the most gorgeous lunch spot at Echo in Balaton, where the food and views were equally incredible. We crossed the lake, drank fresh sparkling water straight from the ground, and even watched the graceful brown swans. Every stop felt thoughtfully chosen and special. What really stood out was Balazs himself – friendly, personal, and accommodating to our requests, always going the extra mile to make the day perfect. By the end, it felt like we were exploring with a friend rather than just a guide. This tour was truly a highlight of our time in Hungary, and we can’t recommend Balazs highly enough!

Our family had a fantastic tour to Lake Balaton. The lake is lovely and our guide was fantastic. He changed the tour up and took us to a winery bc we said we like wine. He was so nice to my son and a great guide. He took us to a lovely restaurant on the lake. We all really enjoyed the day.
