Beginnen Sie Ihren Wien-Besuch entspannt und angenehm. Dieser private Abendspaziergang dient als sanfte Orientierung für Reisende, die mittags oder nachmittags anreisen. Anstatt in Sightseeing zu stürzen, treffen Sie Ihren Experten Austria‐Fortgeschrittener vor der Haustür (Hotel oder Ferienhaus) und genießen eine ruhige, stimmungsvolle Einführung in die Stadt. Da es sich um eine private Tour handelt, passt sich die Route Ihrer Energie, Ihren Interessen und dem Licht der Saison an. Erkunden Sie den Stephansdom, schlendern Sie durch die eleganten Gassen rund um Kohlmarkt und Graben oder genießen Sie die Abendstimmung rund um den Rathausplatz und die Hofburg. Der Spaziergang endet in einem Restaurant, Café oder einer Bar Ihrer Wahl – der perfekte Übergang in Ihre erste Nacht in Wien. Je nach Tempo dauert die Tour in der Regel 1,5 bis 2,5 Stunden.

Wir treffen alle unsere Gäste in ihren Unterkünften (Ferienwohnungen, Hotels) innerhalb der Stadtgrenzen. Wir nutzen öffentliche Verkehrsmittel, wenn dies sinnvoll ist. Da es sich um eine verkürzte Einführungstour handelt, kann es sinnvoll sein, einen Treffpunkt wie vor dem "Café Aida" am Stephansplatz (Singerstrasse 1, Wien 1010) zu vereinbaren.

I highly recommend this fun tour with Walter! It was a great way to see the highlights of Vienna in just 4 hours! Walter was so funny and extremely knowledgeable about Austrian history! A huge bonus was the perfect photo shots and escaping the tourist crowds! He tailored our tour just for us and made us fall in love with this sophisticated, clean, beautiful city!
Thank you, Timothy, to pinpointing the idea of our hosting. All in our Austria Guide Team have “seen the world” and therefore are careful with superlatives. BUT, we all love Vienna! We ask our guest for the “EXTRA STEP” but fort that effort, we sometimes present an UNUSUAL ANGLE.

This was the highlight of our European vacation! Our guide meet us in the lobby of our hotel at 5:30pm and proceeded to show us all the sights of Vienna in 2.5 hours. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. It was amazing as it was just the 4 of us with our guide! We saw The Franciscan Church (also known as the Church of St. Jerome), Mozart’s Apartment Building (from 1784-1787), St. Stephen’s Cathedral, The Plague Column, St. Peter’s church, Freyung Square, Church of the Minoritenkirche (Italian), The Minoritenplatz, the COVID-19 memorial, the 13th century Hofburg Palace (where many important actions and events took place here, most notably Adolf Hitler's ceremonial announcement of the Austrian Anschluss to Nazi Germany on 15 March 1938), Joseph’s Square, the Vienna Opera House & Heldenplatz (Heroes' Square) and many others. At the end of the tour our guide walked us to a great local restaurant and left us for the evening. Would recommend 110% - fantastic!

We meet our guests at their doorstep and therefore our routs vary – and the possible content depends on our guests’ mobility and interest. We thoroughly enjoyed our walk through Vienna in the evening. Walter tailored the walk to include some sites in the area where we were staying. He knew the history of sites and had a great sense of humor. Walter also provided us with ideas for where to visit on the following day on our own.
<p>Walter our guide was so knowledgable with perfect English, waiting for us on time iat our hotel. Helistened to what we were interested in and then adapted our tour to our interests, I would thoroughly recommend a private tour if you are short on time to give you an insight of Austrian history.</p>
