Da es sich um eine private Tour handelt, werden Sie nicht mit anderen Personen als den Personen in Ihrer Reservierung zusammengebracht. Es stehen Ihnen ein privates Auto und ein privater Fahrer-Guide zur Verfügung! Bei dieser Tour haben Sie die Möglichkeit, die erstaunlichen Belogradtschik-Felsen – ein Naturphänomen – und die daneben gelegene alte Festung zu sehen. Meistens werden die Fahrten mit umweltfreundlichen Autos zurückgelegt – mit CNG-Antrieb oder Elektromobilen, um der Luftverschmutzung entgegenzuwirken.

Die Belogradchik-Felsen bilden einen 3 km breiten und 30 Kilometer langen Streifen und die Felsformationen erreichen eine Höhe von etwa 200 Metern. Sie wurden am Boden eines Meeres als Produkt der Kompression vor 230 Millionen Jahren und dann der Erosion in den letzten 45 Millionen Jahren gebildet. Die Felsen, die größtenteils aus Kalkstein bestehen, enthalten Hunderte von Höhlen. Jeder kommt mit einer Geschichte. Jede Felsformation trägt einen Namen: Adam und Eva, das Schulmädchen, der Bär, der Hirtenjunge, der Derwisch, der erste Stein, das Kamel, die Pilze, der Kuckuck, die rote Mauer, die Madonna, der Reiter, Der mentale Stein, Rebel Velko, der Kiefernstein und so weiter.
Die Festung neben den Felsen wurde im Mittelalter erbaut, um die Straße von Sofia zur Donau zu kontrollieren. Sie haben die Möglichkeit, es mit einer geführten Tour zu erkunden.

Our driver was watching you tube on his lap whine he was driving us. Crossing over the center line that divides the lanes countless times. The tour otherwise was as described and we had no issues with the itinerary. However the driving was very unsafe.
My husband and I loved Belogradchik. It’s so beautiful out there and we had a great experience with our tour guide Yulian. He had a lot of knowledge of that place and of Bulgaria’s history. He was very friendly and punctual. We recommend taking this tour company and tour guide. :-)

It was a nice experience to be here as surroundings were awesome. After reaching on the top everything was amazing. It’s good to book private tour to visit here from Sofia due to 3-4hrs of drive for one side and by public transport it would be hard to get back on same day. Our tour guide was nice as he also took us some other photography places too. It wasn’t too crowded so we easily covered all the spots.

This was a great day trip. The scenery is spectacular - quite other worldly, as is the fortress. Our guide, Angel, spoke very good English, had a lot of information to share, and was a good driver. He also knew of a hidden overlook that gave us a panoramic view of the geology. The car was comfortable as well. We've been exploring Bulgaria for two weeks and this was probably our favorite destination. You shouldn't miss it!

A very impressive site. There are some steep steps and not all of it is suitable if you don't like heights. Most of it is accessible to people with average fitness/mobility. Well worth a visit to see the stunning rocks and scenery.
