Die Idee dieser Tour ist es, Sie an üppige Orte zu bringen, an denen Sie auch in der Hochsaison keine Zeit in Schlangen verbringen müssen. Sie haben die Möglichkeit, ein Schloss und einen Palast zu besuchen sowie ein Stück der Küste von Sintra zu erkunden, wo es mehrere schöne Restaurants gibt, die frischen Fisch und Meeresfrüchte servieren. Außerdem haben Sie den ganzen Tag einen offiziellen lokalen Guide dabei, der fließend Englisch, Spanisch und Portugiesisch spricht.

Wir besuchen die historische Burg Mourish auf einem der Sintra Hügel, wo Sie an einem klaren Tag einen fantastischen Blick auf die Stadt haben und bis zum Atlantik und sogar an Lissabon vorbei sehen können.
Hier werden wir durch die schöne kleine historische Stadt Sintra schlendern, wo einst Könige und Königinnen im Nationalpalast von Sintra mit Blick auf die Stadt übernachteten.
Genießen Sie einen der weniger besuchten Paläste von Sintra, am Rande der Stadt Sintra, versteckt in den Hügeln und der Natur, wo Sie wirklich erleben können, warum Sintra im 19. Jahrhundert als Hauptstadt der Romantik galt. Ein schöner privater Palast aus der Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts mit einer Mischung aus indischer und arabischer Architektur.
Wir beenden den Tag mit einem malerischen letzten Halt am westlichsten Punkt des europäischen Festlandes - Cabo da Roca. Das Hotel liegt auf 140m über dem Meeresspiegel, wo die Wellen am Boden der Klippen krachen. Es war der letzte Ort, den die portugiesischen Seefahrer sahen, bevor sie auf ihren Reisen in den Atlantik fuhren.

- Ein Teil der Zeit während der Tour wird für Reisezeit aufgewendet. Wenn Sie in Lissabon ansässig sind, dauert es etwa eine Stunde, um die Burg von Mourish zu erreichen. Von dort ist das historische Zentrum normalerweise eine kurze 5-10 Minuten Fahrt, es sei denn, es gibt Verkehr. Vom historischen Zentrum zum Monserrate Palace sind es ca. 15 Autominuten. Vom Monserrate Palace zum Cabo da Roca sind es ca. 20 Minuten. Und von Cabo da Roca zurück nach Lissabon kann etwa eine Stunde dauern.

Bernardo went above and beyond for me and my 79 year-old auntie! I specifically chose his tour due to the chill-nature of the experience. We were able to tailor the tour to match ability levels. Bernardo communicated days before the tour to let me know about slight changes to the exterior of Montserrate, so we were able to make an informed decision about one of the coolest stops of the tour. He was super understanding and flexible when it came to making on- the- fly changes to suit the energy needs of my auntie. I also learned so much during my tour with Bernardo. He gave in-depth history with deep knowledge on a wide variety of subjects. I know I'll be back to visit portugal and I know that I'll book another tour with Bernardo.
We had an exceptional experience exploring Sintra with Bernardo. From the very beginning, everything was perfectly organized, allowing us to relax and truly enjoy the day. What stood out most was Bernardo’s deep knowledge of the history, culture, and hidden gems of Portugal. In Sintra, we were able to experience the magic of the palaces and landscapes without feeling rushed or overwhelmed, while in Lisbon, thanks to Bernardo’s tips (after the tour) we discovered charming neighborhoods and viewpoints we would never have found on our own. Bernardo was a fantastic and very knowledgeable tour guide. We had the best time exploring Sintra’s amazing castles and the surrounding area. I highly recommend booking a tour with Bernardo, you won’t be disappointed.
A friend recommended Bernardo to us and we actually booked him two days in a row. Having a private tour guide was a big advantage as we could tailor our day as we wished. The day in Sintra was so magical. It was like a fairytale town come alive. Unfortunately, the Pena Palace was closed due to weather so we spent the majority of our time at Quinta da Regaleira castle and I am glad we did. The imagination of the owner to build such an elaborate grounds, gardens, tunnels and the piasta resistance, the initiation well was spectacular. Now I need to read Dante’s inferno…iykyk.
