My children and I had a wonderful day with our driver Moha. We loved the goats in the trees! The little baby goats were the best!
The tour company we booked with was Deep Morocco Tours. Our guide, Hamid, was excellent. His vehicle, a Mercedes SUV, was clean and comfortable. Hamid graciously allowed us ample time to take a multitude of photos of the goats in the trees on our way to Essaouira. He then spent most of the day doing exactly what we loved doing ... SHOPPING! We told him he didn’t have to stay with us while we went through almost every shop in town but he chose to stay with us even after one of us had to buy an extra suitcase to bring more souvenirs home. He pulled the suitcase around town while it was filled. What a guy! He took us to a lovely rooftop restaurant that overlooked the Atlantic for a fabulous seafood lunch. What a pleasant, relaxing day. The icing on the cake was when he contacted us a day later to let us know I forgot my bag of Argan oil in his vehicle. Somehow it slid up under the seat and I didn’t notice it missing. He even delivered it to our hotel. I highly recommend this company and Hamid as a guide. It was the best day out of the 4 we spent in Marrakech.
<p>When I booked this tour, I thought I would have a guide, but as in turned out, it was a driver only and I was my own guide.<br/> Luckily Essaouira is a small village. The rampart area was closed near the sea , and there was much construction as well<br/> as debris by the sea.</p>
<p>A day trip completely tailored to suit my needs and interests. Highly recommended.</p>
