Our tour guide was Dee for a half day tour of east Jeju. Dee was knowledgeable and informative. We had limited time but were able to see Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sinrise Peak) climbing over 500 steps to the peak. He pointed out the Haenyeo (women divers) who were diving and we actually got to meet one of the divers and enjoy part of her catch that day. Amazing. We did a quick visit to the Jeju Folk Village where Dee shared interesting information about the history. Dee was able to make the most of the limited time we had for our tour and we enjoyed our time with him.
The guide did not speak English so he was not able to communicate the sites he took us to. He could tell us be back in an hour with no description or history on what we were brought to.

Our tour of Jeju Island with Mr. Lee was fantastic! We gave him complete freedom to guide us, and he took us to some of the most beautiful spots on the island. He also captured fun photos of us and took us to lunch at a truly local restaurant. Mr. Lee’s great sense of humor made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend him to anyone visiting Jeju!

Great value for money half day tour of the east of Jeju. We booked the tour through Viator. There were 4 of us in the party and we booked a Jumbo Taxi. The driver Mr Oh from Oh Jeong Seon was excellent. He was at the cruise terminal to meet us ahead of schedule. His vehicle was clean inside and out and extremely comfortable. The vehicle was also equipped with high speed WiFi which was ideal for sharing photographs- especially the ones taken by Mr Oh on our behalf. Throughout the day Mr Oh provided commentary -albeit in “basic” English. He also escorted us around all the places of interest that we visited to provide his own personnel insights Highly recommended - 5*
Very nice tour I would recommend to people which stay in Jeju for a short time. Mr. Kim / David was our driver and he could speak good english even though we didn‘t book and english guide. It was my 2nd time with Lucas Travel.
We were able to hike sunrise peak and do aqua planet in the time allowed and it was great! The only problem, that cannot do anything about, is the drive is long to get there and back to our hotel.

Tour Touted as English Speaking Guide…No Such Thing. We had a lovely Korean driver, however. No communication of information about the sites. We were driven there, pointed out an informational sign & the driver said, ‘Be back in one hour’. Poof, he was gone. Lovely man, but it’s hard to speak into the translator app & let him listen while driving. He answered in Korean too late for the app to translate. Very frustrating. The tour director said we had booked the trip late. I told him if he didn’t have any English speaking guides, he should not have accepted the tour. We asked for 3 different sites since it was an open ended tour. He tried to divert us to another area. Wore me out. Also sad that because our hotel was far from Jeju City, an additional cost was required. Interesting, as this was the 2nd tour & the first tour from the same hotel the day before was $20,000 won less. Go figure. I had great luck with Get Your Guide & the best is Tours By Locals.

Our driver went out of his way to show us the wondrous sights of Jeju Island. He took us to the pristine beach at Gwaneumsa, the vast lava tubes in the Manjanggul Cave and the remarkable women divers at the base of Sunrise Peak.
Driver on time and conveniently picked us up at our hotel. Car was clean. Highly recommend seeing Sunrise Peak on a sunny day (was cold and windy on our day) and hike up. Quite steep hike! Driver dropped us off at Korean fried chicken restaurant BCH near our hotel for dinner. Yummy! Driver, Mr Asa Jeong, was very courteous. Basic English only, but he used Google translator.
