Wir werden das sehr berühmte Akhada besuchen, eine Art typisches Fitnessstudio für indische Wrestler.
Dieser historische Stufenbrunnen ist ein Symbol der Fruchtbarkeit. Einmal im Jahr findet hier ein Badefest für Frauen statt, die keine Kinder bekommen können.

Wir laufen von Assi Ghat aus und erreichen in etwa 20 Minuten den Einäscherungs-Ghat von Varanasi, der als Harishchandra Ghat bekannt ist.

Morgens und abends herrscht eine andere Stimmung. Ganga Aarti wird hier jeden Abend abgehalten. Gegen Aufpreis können Sie daran teilnehmen.

I didn't actually make it to the tour. My plane was delayed three times so I arrived too late to participate. However the host was beyond accommodating to all my delays and worked closely with me to ensure I would be able to participate if possible. The level of care and communication I received was exceptional. As a solo female traveler its important to feel confident in tour companies and I completely did. Sad I didn't make the tour but if I return I'd have no doubts booking with them again and I highly recommend them

It was wonderful to be accompanied by Amit! Thanks to him we were able to reach corners, celebrations and rituals that newcomers to Varanassi would have been difficult to find. Had an amazing time touring India and I owe it all to Amit Srivastava of Dhyanam India tours. India is wonderful, our 14-day adventure was amazing and much of it we owe to our guide Amit Srivastava who showed human and professional warmth of ten. The itineraries, spectacular and taught us many things that only one local knows. He speaks perfect English and Spanish, adapted to our needs on the go and the whole group was delighted with him. If I return to India again Amit will be the guide I will choose again.
