Privater Ganztagesausflug zum Mikumi-Nationalpark von Dar es Salaam

Our guide in Mikumi Park was Hosea. He is super friendly, has very good English, and provided a lot of helpful information about the animals. We drove to Mikumi ourselves by car, and he drove us through the park there in a great open safari jeep. We saw a lot of animals. Our guide always knew about the best sightings via radio, so we saw lions 2x. It was a unique experience.

Wonderful day in Mikumi, we saw lions, zebras, impalas, and elephants, and of course giraffes as well. Delicious snack under the trees, our guide catered to our wishes. We returned to the accommodation at the TanSwiss Lodge with many impressions and of course photos, and we ended the day there in the pool.

I did my practical studies with TanzAmerica Safaris for 2 months and it was outstand. The trainer made ecology/ history come alive, i actually understood the topics they teach in clsss and in the park and it was free of charge. It was a nearly 12-hour safari. I'm so grateful to Siles for everything. He showed me everything about the park, even without language barriers. We saw all the animals! We had a mud adventure and even sang in Swahili and Spanish. I highly recommend him; he was very kind and punctual.

An unforgettable experience. The entire procedure of booking the tour was painless. The entire was excellent and helpful. I highly recommend this as a day trip from Dar Es Salaam. The train ride in business class from Dar to Morogoro was ver confortable. I cant say enough good things about our guide Silas. Professional, knowledgable, and friendly. His wealth of knowledge and experience helped us to understand so much. We saw the big 4 and the only we didnt see was the very elusive leopard. I will definitely be back with my family next time!

Wir hatten eine Tagestour im Mikumi Nationalpark und eine wirklich tolle Zeit. Silas ist wahrscheinlich der beste Guide, den ich jemals auf irgendeiner Tour hatte. Den ganzen Tag über war eine lockere fast freundschaftliche Atmosphäre im Auto mit interessanten Gesprächen und vielen spannenden Infos. Ich hatte den Eindruck, dass wirklich ALLE eine gute Zeit hatten, was vielleicht auch am Glück lag, so ziemlich alles zu sehen, was im Park zu sehen ist. Neben dem Zwischenmenschlichen hat uns außerdem gefallen, wie respektvoll Silas mit den Tieren umgegangen ist, während andere Safari-Autos die Tiere teilweise gefühlt gejagt haben. Außerdem möchte ich loben, wie beeindruckend sanft er auf den Rumpelstraßen gefahren ist, sodass die Mitglieder unserer Gruppe mit Reiseübelkeit die Tour genauso genießen konnten. Jeder Zeit wieder und danke für diese tolle Erfahrung, Silas! / We had a day tour in Mikumi National Park and had a truly fantastic time. Silas is probably the best guide I've ever had on any tour. The whole day, there was a relaxed, almost friendly atmosphere in the car, with interesting conversations and lots of fascinating information. I had the impression that literally everyone had a great time, which may have also been due to the luck of seeing pretty much everything there is to see in the park. In addition to the interpersonal aspect, we also appreciated how respectfully Silas treated the animals, while other safari vehicles really seemed to chase them. I also want to praise how impressively smooth he drove on the bumpy roads, allowing the members of our group with motion sickness to enjoy the tour just as much. I'd go back anytime and thank you for this amazing experience, Silas!

We had a pre-interaction with the staff and had them pick us up at 3am. It's a five-hour car trip each way. On the way we stop at a big hotel in Morogoro town, the course says lunch but it will be breakfast in time. I only asked for coffee, I will pay for it myself. (lunch will be taken on safari) Once at Mikumi Park, we part ways with the driver and get in the safari guide's car. We were lucky enough to see a group of elephants, lions and other animals. After enjoying the safari, you will rejoin your driver for a one-way five-hour trip. The five-hour trip each way is hard as it is a day tour, but I am just sitting in the car and as you can see from what everyone says, the safari experience is great so it is worth it.
