Was there waiting for us after baggage claim. with our name on the sign. Parked right outside and we were at our hotel in 20 minutes.
Alexander has excellent communication skills and shared helpful tips on places to explore in the country. He was very helpful overall and arrived right on time for the pickup.
Driver was waiting for us at the airport right outside the door with my name. Did not have to search for him. Very quick, pleasant ride into Sofia from the airport. I was proactive about giving detailed information about our flights. They did respond closer to pickup day. I would use this service again.
We booked a transfer from the airport to our hotel downtown. The driver was there waiting as arranged. The car was high end and convo was nice as we asked whether the activities we arranged (with others) were worth it and suggestions about what to do. They breached out a few days before about exact pickup time and let them know along the way there was a dley and that caused no issues. Very easy and convenient to book.
They never showed up and I waited in line to get a taxi, which is what I was trying to avoid. I retrieved a message the next day claiming "car trouble" and they asked me why I didn't call them. Translation: their opinion is that I should have found a place to buy a European SIMS, call them, and ask, and find out that they weren't going to show up. So to them that makes this my fault. These people are no good. Stay away from them. I do not blame Viator; Viator has always been excellent on over 20 bookings, and Viator quickly refunded my money. So I applaud and thank Viator for quickly dealing with the refund.
