Privater Bilbao-Rundgang

Very interesting tour of old town by a native Basque resident who had an knowledgeable perspective on relations with the rest of Spain and the history of culture, languages, and the area.

It was raining throughout the walking tour. In spite of the rain, our guide, Nora, kept the tour group engaged with her energy and strong depth of knowledge. I would recommend the tour and will engage her tour service again the next time I visit Bilbao / San Sebastián.

The tour with Jose could not have been better. He was very informative and knowledgeable about the city. He even had photos to demonstrate the changes to various locations in the city. He provided lots of insights into the history of the city while pointing out examples of some of these things as well walked. He also showed us his favorite places for pintxos in old town. He also told us the history of the multiple art installations around the city and how Bilbao became the home of some of the most famous sites in Europe. He treated us like we were old friends and that is how we felt. This tour was well worth the time and money.
