Der Fahrer holt Sie an dem von Ihnen angegebenen Ort ab, auch wenn dieser nicht in der Abholliste aufgeführt ist. Richtung Savoca ca. 1 Stunde, berühmte Stadt, die vom Regisseur Francis Ford Coppola ausgewählt wurde, um einige Szenen des berühmten Oscar-prämierten Films „Der Pate“ zu drehen. Die Tour beginnt mit der Abholung an Ihrem Hotel oder am Kreuzfahrtterminal des Hafens von Catania. Je nach Anfrage und Teilnehmerzahl stellen wir sowohl Autos als auch Minivans zur Verfügung. Die folgende Tour ist als privat zu betrachten. Von Catania aus fahren wir nach Taormina (ca. 50 km), wir besuchen das griechische Theater auf eigene Faust, zu Fuß gehen wir weiter zum Palazzo Corvaja, dem Belvedere, dem Corso Umberto mit seinen charakteristischen Straßen voller typischer Geschäfte und Souvenirs. Die Tour geht weiter in Richtung Savoca ca. 20 km, ein kleines hochgelegenes Dorf, wo einige Szenen des Films „Der Pate“ von Francis Ford Coppola gedreht wurden. Bei dieser Tour haben Sie auf Wunsch des Kunden die Möglichkeit, anstelle von Savoca Castelmola, eine mittelalterliche Stadt oberhalb von Taormina, zu besuchen.
Savoca ist ein Land der tausend Attraktionen, auch wenn es in Wirklichkeit ein kleines Dorf in der Provinz Messina mit 1750 Einwohnern ist. Es thront auf dem Berg, bietet aber auch Touristen, die es besuchen, viel. Es wird von den Bächen Agrò und Savoca umspült und ist eine Kunststadt, die in den Kreis der "Schönsten Dörfer Italiens" aufgenommen wurde. In diesem Dorf wurden Szenen aus „Der Pate“, dem Erfolgsfilm von Francis Ford Coppola, gedreht im Jahr 1972, gedreht. I have been using viator for years and I have never had an experience like this. Every other tour I have ever done has been amazing and perfect in so many ways EXCEPT this one. Do not and I repeat, DO NOT book this tour. We were scheduled to be picked up in the morning and no one showed up. We tried contacting the tour operator and no response (very unprofessional). I contacted support at viator and they tried calling, emailing and messaging the tour operators multiple times and NO RESPONSE. If you're looking for a tour you can rely on this is not the tour for you.
Good morning, we have already apologized through Viator, but your reservation never arrived, so if you have someone to blame, blame Viator, not us. If you had called a couple of days in advance or sent a WhatsApp or a confirmation email since you had our contact information, we could have helped you. Technology is good for the community, but a confirmation message would have been better. We have cecked mobile and office phone , no contact from you or viator . we receive just an e mail on 30 december at 9.30 AM with refund request

Taormina and Savoca was spectacular. Very beautiful and a lot of restaurants and stores to visit in Taormina and a very incredible Greek theater from old times. The guide was very good and explain in detail the highlights of what we were visiting.

Salvo was the most amazing tour guide, he taught us so much information about the region and in particular Mt Etna. He also recommended the most amazing seafood lunch destination in Taormina which had both excellent food and postcard views. The town & walk around tour of Savoca where part of the godfather was filmed was also a highlight & a place we would love to visit again.
