What a fantastic day! Started with mountain top coffee shop with a beautiful view. Fantastic dessert. Then to city for fabulous wine tasting. A real education and great wines. We then went to old towne for shopping and an incredible lunch with authentic Greek food. Nicholas our guide was one of the best we have ever had and looked after our every need. One suggestion, do not eat a big breakfast prior to the excursion as there is more food and beverage than we ever expected. Highly recommended!!!!

Our guide Nicholas was great. Beautiful view with coffee overlooking Chania to start. Walk through Old Chania was nice to see areas that we wouldn't have seen otherwise. Wine tasting with Maria was super. Informative but not intense or too snooty which was good for us. Traditional lunch was very good. A lot of food so we took some back with us. All a great way to start our stay on Old Chania.

You won’t find a better way to really understand Chania- from a great start with a local coffee to a wine tasting you’re sure to wish you had before any other finished with a local favorite lunch of Cretan delicacies- not a moment is wasted. We took this tour with Dimitris the day after touring Elafonissi Beach with him - and we couldn't have been happier! He is an excellent guide sharing his deep knowledge of Cretan history, the food & wine enjoyed by Cretans and just a wonderful ongoing conversation. Starting with a great cup of tea at a cafe in the hills with a spectacular view, we then went to the wine tasting at the Wine Center with Mrs. Maria. It was the most enjoyable, detailed wine tasting experience we had, learning how to correctly 'taste' and pair a wine (it does make a difference!) along with the island's history of wine. Going thru the Old Town harbor and winding thru the many alleys (getting a glimpse of where we'd be shopping after lunch!), we visited a local restaurant where the very large lunch was authentic and delicious. We had another great tour with Dimitris and we'd highly recommend this tour and our tour guide!

It was an incredible experience visiting locations we would have never found on our own. The tour started with coffee overlooking beautiful Chaniá followed by wine tasting (and informative short seminar on wine). Then we had a fabulous Cretan lunch and walk through the old town. Our host was fun, considerate, and knowledgeable making our day memorable! We will definitely recommend our host to friends back home!

This was one of the best tours my wife and I have ever been on. Very nice guide with great knowledge of the island, food and drink. Maria at the wine tasting gave us a very good lesson in Cretan wines. Worth the money!

Nasos with Chania Adventures adapted the tour to pick us up at the cruise terminal. Nikolas as our private guide was wonderful. We tend to be physically a bit slower and Nikolas modified the tour to accommodate our small group. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and patient with us. The stop for coffee with a great view of the city was an unexpected treat. Lunch was much more than expected and was a fabulous meal at an old restaurant. I would highly recommend Nikolas, Nasos and this tour. Todd and Connie from Arizona
