Der Marshan-Palast ist ein Palast des Königs von Marokko im Stadtteil Marshan in Tanger. Halten Sie an, um die spektakuläre Architektur und Kunst zu erkunden.
Der Perdicaris-Park, auch bekannt als Rmilat-Wald und früher als Villa Aidonia oder Ort der Nachtigallen, ist ein 70 Hektar großer öffentlicher Park im Stadtteil Rmilat in Tanger, Marokko. Es liegt an den Nordhängen des Hügels Jebel Kebir mit Blick auf die Straße von Gibraltar, zwischen dem Schutzgebiet Kap Spartel im Westen und dem Königspalast Jebel Kebir im Osten. Es ist nach dem berühmten griechisch-amerikanischen Ion Hanford Perdicaris benannt, der es in den 1870er Jahren schuf und dort Mitte 1904 beim Perdicaris-Zwischenfall entführt wurde. Heute ist dieser Park beliebt für Picknicks, Sport und Panoramablick auf das Meer von seinen hügeligen Wanderwegen.
Kap Spartel ist ein Vorgebirge in Marokko etwa 1.000 Fuß über dem Meeresspiegel am Eingang zur Straße von Gibraltar, 12 km westlich von Tanger. Es ist der nordwestlichste Punkt des afrikanischen Kontinents.
Die Herkuleshöhlen sind ein archäologischer Höhlenkomplex. Höhlen des Herkules. Die Höhle hat zwei Öffnungen, eine zum Meer und eine zum Land. Die Meeresöffnung ist als „Karte von Afrika“ bekannt. Es wird angenommen, dass die Phönizier die Meeresöffnung geschaffen haben, die vom Meer aus gesehen die Form Afrikas hat.

Der Jardin de la Mendoubia ist eine der vielen Grünflächen in der Stadt Tanger. Es liegt nicht weit vom Place du 9 Avril 1947 entfernt.
Die Kasbah von Tanger liegt im oberen Teil der Medina. Mit anderen Worten: Um die Kasbah zu besuchen, müssen Sie sich auf den Weg zur Medina machen, einem kleinen Universum voller Leben, und dann durch die steilen Straßen zum ältesten Teil navigieren. Die ehemalige Zitadelle stammt etwa aus dem 10. Es war das erste amerikanische öffentliche Eigentum im Ausland und ist das einzige nationale historische Wahrzeichen der USA in einem fremden Land. Die Gesandtschaft wurde am 17. Mai 1821 nach jahrzehntelangen freundschaftlichen Beziehungen zwischen den USA und Marokko gegründet; Sultan Mohammed ben Abdallah hatte am 20. Dezember 1777 eine Proklamation herausgegeben, in der er die Unabhängigkeit der USA von Großbritannien anerkannte, und war damit das erste Land, das dies tat.
Die Synagoge wurde von Moshe Nahon, einem Bankier und aktiven Mitglied der jüdischen Gemeinde Tanger, erbaut.

Rida was a wonderful engaging guide. Very knowledgeable listing facts and figures while also adding personal anecdotes and insider tips. He showed our group some of the classic and iconic sights as well as some less traveled spots gaining access to some sites and locations we wouldn’t have unless he was our guide. We had a two mad team guiding us. They worked well together and made sure everyone was well taken care of and all questions were answered. Fun and interesting for all.
Hamza took us around Tangier and we had a marvelous time. He shared the history and highlights of a wonderful city. Loved the camel ride along the beach!

Our guide was Mohammed, we couldn’t ask for a better tour guide. He knew everyone in the market, Hercules cave, the kasbah, and everyone other place we went too. He is very patient with kids and knowledgeable. Generally the right places to shop, the lunch is an Authentic Moroccan food dish which we loved, there are options for kids too. At the end of the tour you get treats for refreshments at the end of the market but very good.

First half of the tour the driver to the sights was terrific. He was informative, helpful and friendly. Second half, the walking through the Kasbah was disappointing and off putting. We are slow walkers and the young man was several yards ahead of us almost the whole time , on his phone or talking to a friend that was with him part of the time. Worse, we were steered to only two or three shops that this tour company owns or has some affiliation with. And the guide was upset when I did not want to sit through an argan oil spiel that I had absolutely no interest in. Very disappointed to not have a chance to poke around the many little stalls that we walked past in the long walk to the guide’s chosen places.
