Planning my a Rome experience for my son's family was so easy once I found Sara Verde! After finding her on FB, I messaged her immediately. She responded within 24 hours. I booked 3 tours for them with Sara - Rome Walking Tour, Vatican Tour, and Ancient Rome Tour. She was always responsive to all my questions quickly, advised and reminded me to buy tickets at the right times. She helped me avoid costly mistakes and even assisted in locating other vendors for the Vatican tickets when GetYourGuide had to move their entrance time. Do NOT hesitate to use this fabulous guide! She is professional, knowledgeable, and so very easy to work with! Book her early, or as soon as you can. My son and his family had a great time, but I'll let them write their own review!
Sara was not only an exceptional guide, but a nice person to be around. She knows her way around the Vatican and during a busy time, steered us through where to stand for the best vantage points, and shortcuts to avoid standing around and in line. She is very knowledgeable and read our attention spans through the exhibits. Thank you Sara! Book with Sara, you'll be glad you did!
Do not have Sara Verde as guide. She did not get tickets for the Basilica and tried to talk us out of going. We stood in a line for over an hour to enter while others had tickets and got in much quicker. She told us that she doesn’t get tickets because the Basilica was frequently closed on Saturday. Our tour was supposed to be 4 hours and she was with us about 3 and said she had to hurry to get to another tour. This was our 5th time on a Vatican tour and we’ve never experienced anything like this before. Definitely not worth the amount paid. We do NOt recommend.
Our guide never showed up and we waited for over 90 minutes and had a good deal of help from Vatican employees trying to make it happen, no luck.
Dear guest, our guide had an issue with the subway due to the fact that during the jubilee they had to do some extraordinary works. She was 20 minutes late but you left. You asked for the total refund that we immediately gave to you…even with the total refund you Wrote a bad review. By the way the tour of the Vatican is only three hours so you didn’t lost a day but just couple of hours. My apologies
Our Vatican tour was truly unforgettable, thanks to our exceptional guide, Sara Verde. From the moment the tour began, Sara's deep knowledge, and storytelling brought centuries of history to life. She navigated the vast Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, and a tour of the outside the walls visit with ease, highlighting hidden details and sharing fascinating facts we’d never have discovered on our own. Her enthusiasm was contagious, especially when we saw the Pope in the square. Sara made the experience both educational and inspiring. We felt engaged the entire time and left with a deep appreciation for the art and history of the Vatican. She helped us prepare for our afternoon Basilica visit because it was closed during our tour. I highly recommend Sara Verde for an enriching and memorable visit!
Sara Verde made our tour of the Vatican memorable. Her extensive knowledge of the history of the site, architecture, artists, popes, etc. was unmatched. AND, her English was excellent! I highly recommend Sara and her tours.

We had a great private tour with Sarah who paced herself to match my elderly mom’s energy. My mom was very apprehensive going on a tour for fear of slowing people down so I opted for a private tour of the Vatican and it was the best idea even with walking up and down many steps. We really enjoyed the tour and appreciated the time we were allowed to have to appreciate the Sistine Chapel.
I heard about the private tour to Vaticano, but could not believe it was only me and my husband with the tour guide- Sara. It was really nice. She explained well the history of the construction and gave us a good sense of the chronology and developments done by different popes. We were never in a hurry and calmly went everywhere.
Guide never showed. I'm the one who had to make contact to find out what was going on. Was given the excuse the guide couldn't make it due to a train strike, though the train strike was actually the next day.
