Der Golden Mount oder Wat Saket ist zweifellos einer der einzigartigsten, faszinierendsten und schönsten Tempel in Bangkok.

Die Riesenschaukel wurde 1784 vor dem Devasathan-Schrein von König Rama I. errichtet. Während der Herrschaft Ramas II. wurde die Schaukelzeremonie abgebrochen, da die Schaukel durch Blitzschlag strukturell beschädigt worden war. 1920 wurde es renoviert und an seinen heutigen Standort verlegt, um Platz für eine Gasanlage zu schaffen. Die Zeremonie wurde wieder bis 1935 durchgeführt, als sie nach mehreren tödlichen Unfällen abgebrochen wurde.
Wat Ratchanadda Temple ist ein königlicher Tempel, der vor allem für Loha Prasat oder Metal Castle bekannt ist, eine sehr einzigartige Struktur auf der Skyline von Bangkok. 1846 ordnete König Rama III. den Bau des Wat Ratchanatdaram Worawihan an, wie der Tempel offiziell genannt wird.
Das Demokratie-Denkmal wurde 1939 in Erinnerung an die Revolution von 1932 begonnen, die die absolute Monarchie beendete und Siams erste Verfassung einführte.

We did the tuk tuk food tour with Donut and had a really fun night. Bangkok feels different after dark, and riding around by tuk tuk made it even better. Donut helped us order food and explained what we were trying. I liked the crispy pork and the noodles the most. It was a relaxed night, good food, nice views, and a very friendly guide.
We loved riding around by tuk tuk and trying Thai food at night. The crispy pork was my favorite, and the pad Thai was delicious too. We finished the tour very happy and very full. Thank you Poppy!!
This was one of our favorite nights in Bangkok. Annie made the tour easy, fun, and relaxed. The tuk tuk ride was cool, the night views were beautiful, and the food stops were very tasty. We laughed a lot and left very full.

If you want to experience real Thai street food, this is the tour for you. Poppy guided us to some fantastic spots that we never would have found on our own. Everything was fresh and packed with flavor, especially the tom yum noodles which had just the right kick. Moving between these spots by Tuktuk made the whole evening feel like an adventure. It is great to see the temples and city landmarks lit up at night while cruising around. We left the tour feeling full and very happy with the selection of dishes.
We really enjoyed this private tour. Having our own Tuktuk was such a highlight it made getting around the city very easy and gave us a great view of the streets. Poppy was a lovely guide who kept the night moving nicely. The food was top-quality, from the crispy pork to the different fruits we sampled. It was nice to have a variety of dishes to try in a short amount of time. Everything was well-managed, and it was a wonderful way to enjoy the Bangkok nightlife. It was so much fun!
A fun experience zooming around Bangkok in a tuk-tuk, learning about historical landmarks and trying the local cuisine. Our guide Angie was very friendly, knowledgeable and accomodating, and our driver Mr. Tum was reliable and skillful at the wheel, however his enthusiasm for speed made it feel more like a formula one race, which we found exciting but not for the feint or heart! 🛺💨

Poppy was an amazing host! We had to change our pickup location last minute and she went out of her way to accommodate us. The food was incredible, she knows how to pick great authentic restaurants. She selects a variety of dishes throughout the tour taking preferences into consideration. We ended at a rooftop bar overlooking the river. Such an amazing view! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun and tasty night out in Bangkok!!
If you haven’t done a Tuk-tuk tour at night, you’re missing out! Riding around with the wind in our hair and seeing the city lights was a total rush. Our guide, Poppy, was such a vibe she kept the energy high and took us to some incredible food spots. The crispy pork and tom yum noodles were the best we’ve ever had, and the pork satae was absolutely delicious! Poppy took wonderful care of us and managed everything so effortlessly, so we could just focus on the food and the laughs. It was easily the highlight of our trip!
