Eine der UNESCO-Welterbestätten Italiens.Sie werden keine gewöhnliche Tour erleben, sondern ein unvergessliches Abenteuer – von der Geschichte des Ätna-Vulkans bis zur Herstellung der Etna DOC-Weine. Wir besuchen die Orte, die durch den berühmtesten Ausbruch des Ätna im Jahr 1669 zerstört wurden, besichtigen die Überreste der Kirche, die unter dem Lavastrom von 1669 begraben wurde, und halten in einem typischen Ätna-Dorf, wo Sie die aus Lavastein erbauten Häuser und den schönen Dorfplatz bewundern können. Zum Abschluss besuchen wir den Weinkeller und verkosten verschiedene Ätna-Weine, begleitet von einem Mittagessen mit typischen Produkten.

Took day trip from Taormina to Etna stopping in some villages and Gambino vineyard. Alessandro our driver was great. He was able to guide us to interesting places to see, explain the local history and was good company.

In 2019, I fell in love with Sicily. At the end of a wonderful stay near Syracuse, I was treated to a tasting on my birthday on the vineyard of Gambino, on the flanks of Mount Etna. We were warmly and hospitably welcomed with wine and snacks and were allowed to enjoy all the delicacies they made themselves there. Especially the wines, the Tifeo, both the white and the red, are among the best things Sicily has to offer. Every year I therefore like to order a box of wines from hostess Andrea, which are sent without problems and for a reasonable price. As soon as we open a bottle we imagine ourselves on the slopes of Mount Etna again and I long for the beautiful Sicily! Grazia Gambino!!
