While the drive to Mt. Fuji was longer than expected due to Sunday traffic, our guide Sam was kind, thoughtful and knew his way around the various stops as a true expert with gentle advice for the food and activities. The rope way is the ideal stop for the best views! Plan for a long day and pack extra water.

We had an excellent time with Mizra! He called us the night before to confirm the time and itinerary. He was punctual at pickup and accommodated what we wanted to see (he was able to customize the itinerary as we wanted to see the famous Lawson and the outlets instead of a few other locations). He gave us a good recommendation for authentic Japanese food and gave us historical insights along the way. The highlight was the speedboat on Lake Ashi, truly a memorable family moment for us and I would highly recommend doing that as part of your itinerary. His driving was also excellent and he was such a pleasure to speak with. Would highly recommend this tour!

Our driver messaged the day before our tour and suggested we leave anywhere between 5:30-6:30 AM instead of the published 7:30 AM to beat the traffic. We were lucky to see Mt. Fuji without any cloud coverage. Midday, our driver recommended a fun and delicious conveyor-belt restaurant to stop off and eat at during our tour. The day was well planned and we avoided rush hour traffic by adjusting our schedule a bit. Win-win!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Unforgettable Mount Fuji Experience with Fabi Our family—my wife Kirsten, my son Oliver, and I—had an absolutely incredible day exploring Mount Fuji with Fabi. Having already visited Mount Fuji once before, we expected a similar experience, but Fabi went above and beyond by completely rearranging the itinerary to show us a side of the region we had never seen. That thoughtful gesture alone made this tour feel truly personal. Instead of repeating the typical route, Fabi took us to the breathtaking Arakurayama Sengen Park, where we enjoyed one of the most iconic and beautiful views of Mount Fuji. We also visited the peaceful shores of Lake Kawaguchiko at Oishi Park, explored a traditional Japanese village, and finished the day at the serene Kitaguchi Shrine. Every stop was perfectly timed, never rushed, and filled with fascinating history and local insight. What made the experience exceptional was Fabi. He was knowledgeable, friendly, flexible, and genuinely invested in making sure we had the best possible day. It never felt like we were simply checking off tourist attractions—it felt like we were being shown Japan by someone who truly loves sharing it with others. If you’re considering a Mount Fuji tour, ask for Fabi if you can. Whether it’s your first visit or your second, he’ll make it feel like a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
