Private Tour westlich von Salalah - faszinierende Berge und Strände

We had read other reviews of Takamul Travel Company and we were impressed too. We did two Private tours, West and East Salahah and we can highly recommend both. The communication in planning our itineraries was speedy and helpful. The price was very competitive and good value. We had Ali as our Guide on both trips. Our guide was a wealth of knowledge and the tour vehicle was great. Some sites were out of season but others spectacular!

I fully enjoyed the tour. I don’t feel rushed. Karel is very knowledgeable about the local culture and the local tourist sites. I especially like the beach area west of Salalah. I highly recommended this tour!

During a winter escape from Europe and our first visit to Oman, we were very glad having booked this tour with Takamul Travel, giving us the opportunity to experience western Dhofar in a perfect setting. We found our tour guide Karel, CEO of Takamul Travel, well-educated, knowledgeable and entertaining, giving us very interesting insights into the country. Karel is an experienced and safe driver. The visited places are really stunning, and we encountered almost no other tourists - apparently most of Salalah visitors kept sitting on the beach at this time of year. We very much recommend booking this fantastic experience with Takamul. We thought we got excellent value for much less money compared to tours offered via our hotel tour operator. We also booked the Empty Quarter desert adventure with Takamul Travel, which was equally enjoyable.

My wife and I did the 5 hour West Salalah tour with Karel Tomastik on 8 February 2020. Pick up time was 9am and he arrived at our hotel right on time. It was a surprise to us that Karel was Czech. My wife is Czech too so they conversed in Czech occasionally during our trip. Karel also speaks perfect English and Arabic. He has a Master's degree from Charles University in Prague, in Arabic language and History of the Middle East. Karel was excellent in his knowledge of all the areas we visited, and we appreciated his additional commentary while driving about the history of the region. His driving was excellent and the car we travelled in was clean, comfortable, and in excellent condition. Karel didn't rush us at all, letting us explore the places at our leisure, considering we had to be back at our hotel at 2pm so we could shower, clean up, and check out by 2.30pm. We stopped off at the Al Hafa Fort Market where my wife bought a cashmere scarf and we also bought some Frankincense products. We arrived back at our hotel at 2pm. Overall, excellent tour and we appreciated Karel for his knowledge, driving, commentary, and not rushing us. We recommend Takamui Travel for your Salalah tours.

We spent a fantastic day with Karel our guide. There was plenty of time to photograph the beautiful landscape and there were no wishes left unfulfilled.

Amazing tour to west of Salalah where you will be amazed of how gorgeous the nature is in this lovely side of the city and where you can take a lot of perfect photos and good memories. Special thanks to Mr. Karel the general manager of Takamul travel who was very professional and proactive in solving some complications related to our booking with trip advisor. Also as our tour guide, Mr. Karel was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable and informative and we learned a lot from him. He is a very good arabic speaker by the way and english ofcourse. Thank you Takamul travel for this pleasant experience.

Without a doubt brilliant, I did two tours with them during my stay in Salalah and I highly recommend both. Not only everything was perfect, but I felt, in every instance, that the tour guide did his best to make this trip memorable. I really enjoyed the great views from the mountains, hiking to a secluded beach and so many other things. Will definitetly come back!
