Marco was our driver for two transfers - from Rome airport to our hotel in city center and then again a few days later from Rome to Civitavecchia. He was friendly, knowledgeable, prompt and courteous. We received plenty of communication leading up to both transfers, and felt comforted knowing we had reliable transportation to our destinations, The vans were comfortable, clean, and spacious with room for all our luggage for a family of four. Would highly recommend this company (and Marco!) and will use them again!

Our cruise arrived at the dock outside of Rome early in the morning and our flight departed at 3:30 pm. We wanted to be able to see some of Rome before leaving. We fortunately found Discovery Guided Tours. They arranged for an English-speaking guide, Gilberto who was the best. He picked us up at the dock and delivered us to the airport. In between we had a great tour of Rome. He dropped us off at many of the iconic sites. We were allowed as much time as we needed to explore. He gave us historical information about each site. A perfect way to spend a few hours in Rome.

We had a truly exceptional pre-cruise tour of Rome, thanks to Discovery Tours! Our driver was waiting at the airport when we arrived, texting us to ensure we knew he was there, and even had checked on our arrival time and came to the airport an hour early because he'd seen our flight was early. It blew me away! This allowed us to get to see even more of Rome before we needed to get to the cruise port. His incredible knowledge of Rome (busiest tourist spots, backroads, parking hacks) allowed us to see more sites than we'd imagined. Beyond this he made sure we had a personalized experience... helping us find an espresso to keep us going, telling us the tricks for ideal picture locations, and even making time to stop by a market to pick up some wine for our cruise. We had a wonderful time and I am so thankful we booked with Discovery. I can't wait to come back and use them again. Worth every penny!!!

Marco is very experienced and knowledgeable about everything Rome. Very fun guy. Felt very safe. The only downside is that we didn’t spend more time with Marco. So much to see and do!

Gilberto was awesome- he speaks perfect English and made great suggestions for our trip around Rome before going to our cruise ship. He also helped find us a driver when we ended our cruise in Trieste and needed to get to Venice. Bravo to this company!

Our driver Paolo was wonderful! Paolo was fun, informative, patient and kind. I am traveling with my elderly mother and he was so helpful with her. He took us to the must see sites in Rome. Thank you!

We had Marco give us a pre cruise tour of Rome and the Vatican and then a transfer to the port. We had a great time and Marco was great. He also picked us up after our cruise for a transfer to our hotel and again what a wonderful individual. We also used Discovery Tours for other parts of Italy and everyone was wonderful.
