Am Alcázar neben der Alhambra, der den ganzen Komfort der Zeit für den Kaiser und seine Familie erfüllte, begannen die Bauarbeiten des Palastes im Jahr 1527 und wurden 1957 vollständig finanziert.
Der gewöhnliche Wohnsitz der Könige von Granada, deren Bau zu Beginn des 14. Jahrhunderts begann. Die Nasridenpaläste sind ein Palastkomplex, der aus drei Gebäuden besteht: - Der Mexuar ist die älteste Halle. Es wurde für Treffen zwischen den Ministern des Königs und als Gerichtssaal eingesetzt. - Als nächstes kommen wir zum Palast von Comares, der aus der Zeit von Yusuf I stammt. Diese Wohnung wurde um den Patio de los Arrayanes (Hof der Myrten) errichtet und seine Seitenausgänge führen zur Sala de los Embajadores ( Hall of Ambassadors) und der Sala de la Barca (Halle des Bootes). Die Halle der Botschafter befindet sich im Turm von Comares. - Der Palast der Löwen aus der Zeit Muhammeds V. ist auch eine königliche Residenz. Es besteht aus einem zentralen Innenhof, dem Innenhof der Löwen, und Sälen an beiden Seiten, dem Saal der Mocarabes, dem Saal der Könige, dem Saal der zwei Schwestern und dem Saal der Ajimeces, die zum Mirador führen Daraxa Aussichtspunkt und die Halle der Abencerrajes, zusammen mit dem Harem.
Hinter den Mauern der Alhambra, in einem Berg namens Cerro del Sol, liegt das Generalife, ein Landgut der Nasriden-Sultane, das auch für die landwirtschaftliche Produktion genutzt wurde. Sie werden den Sommerpalast entdecken, eine Residenz, die als königlicher Palast des Glücks bekannt ist, voller riesiger Gärten mit einer großen Auswahl an Blumen und Vegetation.

We had three wonderful hours of enjoying one of the most amazing sites in the world. Get on your walking shoes and be ready to climb many many stairs to view the beauty of the buildings, the rose gardens in bloom right now in May 2026. The Alhambra is like going back in time to Another culture. The beauty of the architectural and the carvings which make it so, are beyond description. You just have to go there to see it for yourself. Our guide was so knowledgeable. You can tell they have to study for years so they can share so much history with us.
