Wagen Sie einen Besuch der wunderschönen Villa de Leyva, einem bezaubernden Ort für seine Kolonialarchitektur. Die Reise wird von wunderschönen Landschaften und historischen Orten geschmückt, Sie erfahren etwas über Bräuche, typische Gerichte und vieles mehr. Sie besuchen auch Orte wie die Boyacá-Brücke, den Ort, an dem der Kampf um unsere Unabhängigkeit stattfand. In Villa de Leyva besuchen Sie die Plaza Mayor, die für ihre Größe und ihren Steinboden bekannt ist. Museen, Kirchen, Klöster und Attraktionen wie die Blauen Brunnen, die Hölle, das Archäologie- und Fossilienmuseum, Weinberge, das heilige Eccehomo-Kloster (Sie können zwischen 2 Attraktionen wählen. Casa Terracota ist nicht inbegriffen, diese wird zusätzlich berechnet). Auf dem Rückweg nach Bogotá passieren wir die Städte Sutamarchan und Ráquira. Letztere ist ein malerischer Ort, der auf der ganzen Welt für seine lange Tradition der Keramikverarbeitung bekannt ist. Und schließlich erreichen wir den Ausgangspunkt in Bogotá und den von Ihnen gewünschten Ort.

An diesem magischen Ort verschmelzen Architektur und Design sowie anderes Kunsthandwerk. Der kolumbianische Architekt und Keramiker Octavio Mendoza Morales hat sich von Anfang an darum bemüht, einen alternativen und harmonischen Lebensstil sowohl für den Einzelnen als auch für die Gemeinschaft und die Umgebung zu fördern.
Es befindet sich in der 1,5 km langen Via Arcabuco in einem Haus, das als Juwel der Kolonialarchitektur erbaut wurde und 1570 als Mühle dient. Es beherbergt derzeit Stücke des paläontologischen und kulturellen Erbes, von fossilen Stücken aus der Kreidezeit, die 130 Millionen Jahre alt sind Stücke in Sammlung und 441 Ausstellungsstücke. Es hat auch eine Sammlung von ca. 130 Arten aus verschiedenen typischen Ökosystemen des Landes und eine lebende Sammlung einheimischer Arten, die zu Bildungs-, Forschungs- und Erhaltungszwecken verwendet werden. Dieses Museum ist an die Fakultät für Naturwissenschaften der Nationalen Universität von Kolumbien angegliedert.
Auf der Ostseite der Plaza Mayor der schönen Villa befindet sich die Kirche Unserer Lieben Frau vom Rosenkranz
Mit 14.000 m2 ist die Villa de Leyva einer der größten Plätze in Amerika. In diesem gepflasterten Raum ragen ein Wasserbrunnen und die Kirche Unserer Lieben Frau vom Rosenkranz heraus. In der Umgebung finden Besucher unter anderem Restaurants, Hotels, Museen und Kunsthandwerksläden, die die für diese Gemeinde typische koloniale Architektur respektieren.
Das Kloster von Ecce Homo wurde am 15. März 1620 von den Dominikanern am Palmsonntag als Evangelisationszentrum und Erholungsheim außerhalb der städtischen Zentren gegründet, in denen die Brüder von fortgeschrittenes Alter Die religiöse Architektur folgte lange Zeit den Mustern der Spanier. Die Art der in unserem Land vorkommenden Klöster hängt von der Implementierung und Wiederholung bestimmter Arten ab, wobei die verwendeten Materialien geringfügig variieren.
Nur ein paar Kilometer von der Villa entfernt, auf der Straße, die nach Santa Sofia führt, finden wir die wunderschönen blauen Brunnen. Diese Brunnen sind künstlich und befinden sich auf privatem Land. Der blaue Brunnen ist eine der neuen Attraktionen der Villa de Leyva, sein Charme ist relativ und für uns kommt es auf das Wetter an. Wenn der Himmel blau und klar ist, ist es nicht so interessant, wenn es bewölkt ist.

Das El Fósil Museum in Villa de Leyva, Kolumbien, beherbergt eines der am besten erhaltenen Kronosaurus-Fossilien der Welt, 120 Millionen Jahre alt. Zusätzlich zu diesem beeindruckenden Fossil zeigt das Museum eine Sammlung von Meeresfossilien, die die reiche geologische Geschichte der Region hervorheben.

The trip was almost 14 hours but was worth it. We went midwek so there were no crowds and it was easy to navigate. Our guide Angel was accomodative as we switched betwen Spanish and English. He exhibited some serious F1 skills to get us back to Bogota at a reasonable hour. Only caution is to avoid the Choclate thing…a total toursit trap.

The trip to Villa de Leyva was amazing. I was especially delighted by the Eccehomo Monastery which is literally built with ancient sea fossils. So mysterious and thought provoking. My guide and driver were excellent. Luisa, the driver, had to drive for hours on mountain roads in the rain. She was careful, safe, efficient, friendly and had a great sense of humor. Milens, the guide, was enthusiastic and very friendly. She did a good job answering my unusual questions especially about the monastery which is literally built with ancient ammonite fossils. GoBogota is lucky to have these two young women as employees. I definitely recommend the trip especially with the two young ladies. And lunch was great too.

The visit lasted a total of 14 hours, with 2 people, Driver and Guide, totally at my disposal. During the tour, in addition to Villa de Leyva which is beautiful, we visited a number of other attractions in the area that are worth knowing and visiting. A day where it was possible to take many photos and really get into the local Colombian culture. Highly recommended!

Angel, our tour guide was so great! He took us to the small villages around Villa De Leyva, made a stop to the chocolate museum and took us to a bunch of different historical spots and was able to take plenty of pictures. He was so knowledgeable of the land and made us feel at home
