Eine riesige 245 Meter lange Arena, in der sich bis zu 15.000 Zuschauer versammeln würden, um Wagenrennen und andere sportliche Veranstaltungen zu verfolgen. Man sieht noch die Sitz- und Drehständer.
Eine der bekanntesten und fotografiertesten Seiten in Jerash. Dieser ungewöhnliche, geräumige, ovale Platz ist von einer Kolonnade ionischer Säulen umgeben, die ein markantes optisches Herzstück für die Stadt bildet.
Die Hauptstraße erstreckt sich über 800 Meter. Noch immer mit seinen ursprünglichen Steinen gepflastert, sind die von antiken Wagen getragenen Forellen noch sichtbar. Ein Spaziergang entlang dieser Straße vermittelt Ihnen ein wahres Gefühl für die Größe und das städtische Design der Stadt.
Ein großartiges Amphitheater, das zwischen 90 und 92 n. Chr. erbaut wurde und mehr als 3.000 Zuschauern Platz bot. Die Akustik ist bemerkenswert gut erhalten und wird auch heute noch für Aufführungen genutzt.
Dieser Tempel, der der Schutzgöttin der Stadt gewidmet ist, ist eines der bedeutendsten Bauwerke auf dem Gelände. Besonders beeindruckend sind seine hoch aufragenden korinthischen Säulen.

Had a great time in Amman and Jerash. Our driver/guide Mr Mint was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. He showed us some local deserts and tea, which was really nice. The only issue was that the tour was only 6 hours when we were driven to our hotel, not 7 hours as advertised.

For our first trip to Jordan—a short two-day stopover in Amman—we hoped to see as much of its famed antiquities and ruins as possible. After searching the endless tour possibilities to be found on TripAdvisor, the best tour itinerary was this one offered by R&H VIP Transportation. Their quick confirmation of our reservation followed by direct contact by our driver—Mohammad Bardaghawi—was immediately reassuring that we made the right choice, and Mohammad proved to be very flexible in working with our timetable, professional in all respects, and generous with his time, guidance and suggestions, and in introducing us to local treats such as “Turkish” coffee and knafeh. He picked us up on time at our hotel, made us comfortable throughout our day-long trip to Jerash and then back to explore Amman not only with his skillful driving but with his vast knowledge about the history of Jordan as well as the specific sites we saw, and then brought us back to our hotel. We had a wonderful experience and were delighted to learn he would be the one taking us to Petra the next day!

You can taylor the day to your liking, my driver was more than happy to adjust the tour to suit my needs and interests.
