Ihr freundlicher Fahrer/Guide holt Sie morgens direkt von Ihrem Hotel ab und hält Sie auf dem Laufenden, während Sie sich auf die großen Bustouren in Stonehenge vorbereiten. Am Nachmittag bringen wir Sie in die einzige UNESCO-Weltkulturerbestadt des Landes und haben die Gelegenheit, das Römische Bädermuseum zu erkunden. der keltisch-romanischen Göttin Sulis Minerva gewidmet. Die Stadt hieß einst Aqaue Sulis und ist sowohl römischen als auch keltischen Ursprungs. Wenn Sie sehen, wie gut die 2000 Jahre alte Etage heute aussieht, wird Ihnen dieses großartige Museum die Kinnlade fallen lassen. Neben dem Tempel bietet Bath prächtige Geschäfte und Architektur aus dem 18. Jahrhundert, als es als Kurstadt völlig neu erfunden wurde. Der Queen Square, der Circus und der Royal Crescent sind nur einige der großartigen Entwürfe von John Wood. Ihr Guide wird Sie mit Geschichten aus der römischen Zeit bis zum georgianischen Glamour faszinieren und die Geschichte von Bath zum Leben erwecken!
Auf dem Rückweg nach London können Sie einige der schönsten Landschaften Englands bewundern, während wir einen Schritt zurück in das England des 18. Jahrhunderts machen. Ihr Führer wird Sie über den einst lukrativsten Handel in Europa aufklären. Cotswold Wolle. Dörfer wie Castle Combe lebten von der Wollindustrie und haben ein perfektes kleines Dorf mit erstaunlichen Weberhäusern und einer Kirche geschaffen. Wenn Sie Spaziergänge auf dem Land mögen, sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Reiseleiter, und Sie können auch auf einem öffentlichen Fußweg das ländliche England kennenlernen.
Auf dieser Tour haben Sie die Wahl, Castle Combe OR Lacock Abbey zu besuchen. Lacock Village ist viel größer als Castle Combe und vielleicht nicht so malerisch, aber es ist ein Muss für Harry Potter Fans, die Drehorte für die epischen Filme suchen!

Wenn sich Ihr Hotel/Ihre Unterkunft in East London (E1 Postleitzahl) befindet, holen wir Sie um 07:00 Uhr oder 07:15 Uhr von Ihrer Unterkunft ab. Anschließend beenden wir die Tour an der U-Bahn-Station Gloucester Road, um Ihre Sightseeing-Zeit auf der Tour zu maximieren, anstatt sie mit einer Fahrt durch London zu verbringen. Wir werden Sie nach der Buchung kontaktieren, um eine frühere Abfahrtszeit zu vereinbaren, damit die Tour reibungslos verläuft, damit Sie pünktlich in Stonehenge ankommen :)

Best pick for traveling the British countryside! Our lovely guide Peter Iles made this trip the most enjoyable part of our time in London. His easy manner and deep command of the history of the region made for a very enriching experience. He explains Stonehenge as if a scholar and had an infectious enthusiasm for explaining the theories behind this monument. He made it feel like even though this monument is in Britain, it represents the ancient wisdom that is certainly in all our ancestors pasts. I wish we had more time here to arrange other trips with Peter as our guide!
Peter’s vast and in depth knowledge of the history of the region made for a very enriching experience - I cannot recommend highly enough!

Our guide Christian M. was amazing! So incredibly informed/educated about the area and sites. A lot of fantastic history education mixed with some great "dad" jokes. He went out of his way to be sure we had a fantastic day and part of that was really knowing his stuff and being incredibly organized. Castle Combe is not to be missed!

Absolutely the BEST tour we've ever been on! Oz is not just a tour guide but a friend and great wealth of knowledge! We had two amazing day trips with Oz as our tour guide. He made each tour specific to our likes. We even stopped for coffee on the way to Stonehenge because of that stop he checked the Google Maps and it showed an accident on 303 hwy. Which we took a detour, but the bigger busses always stay on the path despite accidents on the roadways, We got to Stonehenge before everyone else and had it all to ourselves for 15 mins which is unheard of! He walked us through talking about the site and answering all our questions good, bad and the ugly. . Even when we went to Bath he already had an idea we wanted a good steak and ale pie, he had looked it up the night before and suggested The Raven which was one of the best pies and pints we had. I know it seems kinda pricy BUT TRUST ME IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY! The one one experience is so worth it! If you were to splurge on a once in a lifetime trip I would pick this company hands down! By the time this ended we were planning another trip via this amazing company. He say's he has people who specialize in different locations. We are now looking to book with them for Wales, S. England and N. England going into Scotland. We also hired Tailored Tours to help us get from our hotel to Fullers Brewery > OVO Wembley for a concert > and Pickup from OVO to our hotel. Richard was our driver that day and what a wonderful man who made our experience so easy. Which we were worried about coming to an unknown country and trying to figure out concert logistics.
