Wenn Sie diese Gegend auf den alten Pfaden durchqueren, die die Cinque Terre verbinden, erhalten Sie Einblicke in die unvergleichliche Schönheit des Meeres und der Landschaft, die von mediterraner Macchia, Weinbergen, Olivenhainen und Zitrusbäumen geprägt ist. Snacks mit Focaccia, Pesto und Weinproben mit einem detaillierten Einblick in die lokalen Speise- und Weintraditionen. Besuch des Dorfes, Spaziergang entlang der Hauptstraße bis zum Hafen und Punta Bonfiglio, mit Einführung in den Nationalpark Cinque Terre; Geschichte, Kultur und Traditionen dieser alten Dörfer, strategisches Ziel der römischen Herrschaft, der Genueser Republik und von Piratenüberfällen. Geführte Beobachtung des Gebiets, das durch Sedimentgestein über dem Meer gekennzeichnet ist und Meereserosion und Erdrutschen ausgesetzt ist. Entdeckung der mediterranen Macchia und der Anpassungen der Küstenpflanzen an das salzige Klima und die Sommerhitze.
Steigen Sie nach Volastra und entdecken Sie den Nationalpark Cinque Terre, der seit 1997 zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe gehört und die menschliche Landschaft auf tugendhafte Weise mit der Natur dieses bezaubernden, aber äußerst fragilen Ortes verbindet. Tatsächlich werden die Cinque Terre seit der Antike durch den Bau von Terrassen bewirtschaftet, die von den berühmten „Trockenmauern“ getragen werden, die die Integrität des Gebiets bis zum heutigen Tag vor der Gefahr häufiger Erdrutsche des Sedimentgesteins bewahrt haben Meereserosion. In Volastra erwartet uns eine Pause im Schatten mit einem Snack aus Pesto, Focaccia und Weißwein, die uns die Möglichkeit bietet, in die lokalen kulinarischen Traditionen und die Geschichte der Weinproduktion der Cinque Terre einzutauchen.
Der Ausflug geht weiter zwischen Terrassen und mediterraner Macchia, vorbei an Feuchtgebieten und Steineichenwäldern, mit einem unvergleichlichen Blick auf das gesamte Meeresgebiet der Cinque Terre und die kleinen, zwischen den Felsen versteckten Dörfer. In Corniglia erwartet uns eine Panoramaterrasse, die den ganzen Tag umfasst.
Je nach verfügbarer Kraft können wir Vernazza zu Fuß oder mit dem Zug erreichen. Besuch des Dorfes, das in der einzigen natürlichen Bucht der Cinque Terre versteckt ist. Hier beenden wir unsere Reise durch Botanik, Geologie, Traditionen und Geschichte dieses Landes, das reich an Kultur und seltener Schönheit ist.

Sonia was an amazing guide for Cinque Terre! An effervescent personality and the utmost athlete — she was a joy to spend the day with as our leader on an amazing hike not for the weary! Sonia is also extremely knowledgeable about the land and the plants and the Italian culture. An amazing day that we’d do all over again.

We hired Sonia for 3 days to show us the Cinque Terre area. Wow it could not have been better. Two of the days we did some hiking between the town, she gladly adjusted for our fitness level and showed us lots of little hideaway places and unbelievable overlooks. Another day we toured by boat and stopped to see several quaint villages including Portofino. If you want a true Cinque Terre experience go no where else!

I’ve done a lot of tours and hikes, but this felt like spending the morning with a knowledgeable friend. Sonia didn’t just guide us—she shared the history, culture, trees, food, and stories that made the region come alive. The homemade focaccia, espresso, and local recommendations were such thoughtful touches. My family of 7 (grandparents, parents and kids 9-18) loved every minute of it. She continues even after the tour to message me recommendations on what else to do in our 5 days here. Honestly, after our first day, I wished she could have joined us for all five days of our trip. That’s how good she was.

We met our guide, Marco, on the train in Rapallo on our way to Cinque Terra. We chose to hike between Manarola and Cornigla with a stop in Volastra at the top for a snack over the easier train ride between towns. This left less time to tour the towns, but was a great decision for us. Warning: the initial mile of the hike is mostly all up a steel climb. About 1200 feet of elevation gain. It took a while and wore us out, but well worth it. The views are spectacular and once at the top the path is easier along the ridge as you walk thru vineyards. Marco was a wonderful host and share information as we went. He was also patient with us as we stopped to rest on our way up the climb. The entire tour left us wanting to return to the area to see more.

Sonia lead us for a day thrru 3 villages in Cinque Terre. We booked her directly and her communication was excellent and frequent. She met us directly at our hotel and took care of us all day and returned us to the hotel. Her knowledge of the area and the local plants and trees was amazing. We asked for part of our day to be a hike and she didn't disappoint as she is a mountaineer! We had an amazing day with her and would highly recommend her as a guide
