Zuerst fahren Sie zu Hitlers berühmtem Kehlsteinhaus hoch in den Berchtesgadener Alpen und steigen dann für eine Bootsfahrt in das smaragdgrüne Wasser des Königssees ab. Abschließend besuchen Sie Österreichs historische Perle, die Stadt Salzburg mit ihrer einzigartigen Altstadt voller Denkmäler und der berühmten Festung Hohensalzburg. Und das alles bequem in einem Privatwagen mit einem englischsprachigen Fahrer vor Ort, der sich in der Gegend auskennt und gerne Informationen mit Ihnen teilt. Sie wählen Ihr eigenes Abholdatum und Ihre eigene Abholzeit für einen problemlosen Tür-zu-Tür-Transfer. Unser Fahrer ist freundlich und jederzeit erreichbar. Das Kehlsteinhaus oder Kehlsteinhaus wurde 1937–1938 als Geschenk zum 50. Geburtstag Hitlers erbaut. Das Gebäude ist ein architektonisches Meisterwerk mit fantastischer Aussicht und erhebt sich auf einem schmalen Felsrücken auf 1.834 Metern Höhe inmitten der bayerischen Alpen nahe der Alpenstadt Berchtesgaden. Ein Besuch im Kehlsteinhaus ist faszinierend. Ihr privater englischsprachiger Fahrer bringt Sie zum Parkplatz, wo Sie ein lokaler Bus über einen steilen, 6,5 km langen, in den Fels gehauenen Weg bringt. In 15 Minuten überwinden Sie 700 Höhenmeter. Aber das ist nicht alles. Wenn Sie den oberen Parkplatz erreichen, müssen Sie durch einen mit Marmor ausgekleideten Tunnel gehen und dann mit einem luxuriösen historischen Aufzug weitere 124 Meter nach oben fahren. Dort finden Sie nicht nur das Innere der einst berühmten Villa, sondern auch das Restaurant und natürlich einen atemberaubenden Panoramablick auf die Alpen.
Verpassen Sie nicht die Gelegenheit, eine Bootsfahrt zu unternehmen und die Ruhe des Nationalparks zu genießen. Es erwartet Sie ein atemberaubendes Panorama aus Wasserfällen und hoch aufragenden Klippen. Der smaragdgrüne Königssee liegt am Fuße der Watzmann-Ostwand im Herzen des Nationalparks Berchtesgaden. Mit einer Tiefe von 190 Metern ist er der tiefste See Deutschlands. Die Bootsfahrt über den See hält an der berühmten St.-Bartholomäus-Kirche. Die Kirche aus dem 17. Jahrhundert ist einer der fotogensten Orte am See. In der Nähe gibt es einen Kiosk und ein Restaurant. Interessanterweise friert der See im Durchschnitt nur einmal alle 10 Jahre zu. Es braucht ungewöhnlich kaltes Wetter und keinen Wind. Eine Schifffahrt auf dem See ist daher zu jeder Jahreszeit ein Erlebnis.
Wenn Sie genug von der Schönheit des Königssees haben, erwartet Sie ein komfortabler Privattransfer zum nächsten Juwel. Die imposante Festung Hohensalzburg ist die größte erhaltene Festung Mitteleuropas und bietet atemberaubende 360°-Panoramablicke. Ursprünglich im Jahr 1077 von Erzbischof Gebhard als Verteidigungsfestung erbaut, liegt sie auf dem Festungsberg. Noch heute nimmt es eine dominierende Stellung ein und wacht über die Stadt Salzburg als ihren ewigen Wächter. Im Inneren des Schlosses gibt es mehrere Museumsausstellungen. Im dritten Stock befinden sich die Originalräume, darunter der Fürstensaal, die Goldene Kammer und der Goldene Saal. Die Ausstattung dieser Räume ist original und seit 1501/1502 unverändert geblieben. Wunderschön ist auch das historische Stadtzentrum, wo Sie die Drehorte des legendären Musicals „The Sound of Music“ besuchen können.

Our guide Abir was very kind. It was the perfect day in 3 great locations. It is nice to do research ahead of time so you have an idea of things you want to see in your free time once you get to the locations.
This was an all-day tour covering 3 locations. I thought I was in shape, but realized how the altitude at Konigssee and Eagle Nest can change that assessment! We were fortunate to have an experienced tour guide in Tomas Vacir. He was proactive in telling us when we need to buy tickets (the lift at Konigssee, the bus up to Eagle's Nest). If it had not been for him, we would not have been able get into Eagle's Nest, as it happened to be a holiday and the morning slots had already been taken. We adapted by going to Konigssee first, taking in Eagle's Nest in the afternoon and finishing the day in Salzburg. Tomas was very prompt to greet us after each visit and get us to our next destination. He even provided us map location to our phone of sites to visit in Salzburg.
It's a great area to travel and great stops along the way. Our driver Tomas was friendly and informative.

After a long drive, the tour had been closed due to weather. Had we been informed of this, alternative plans would have been made. The driver we had however, was fantastic and we made the best of it.

We enjoyed an entire day with Tomas. He is fluent in English and we had enjoyable conversations the whole day. He loves history and shared a lot of information, so if Tomas is your driver please ask about the history for each spot visited. We loved how this private tour is completely catered to what you want to do and for how long. We were able to communicate with Tomas using WhatsApp to modify how long we wanted to stay at each place. He was quick to respond and pick us up promptly. Tomas really made this tour fun and enjoyable as it takes an entire day. A couple of suggestions: get to Eagles Nest early as the large tour groups show up around 10:30 am and be sure to contact The Europe Journey Team and request the links to purchase the tickets for the bus at Eagle Nest and the boat ride at Lake Königssee before you go. The Europe Journey Team was also very quick to respond using WhatsApp. They sent me our driver Tomas’ contact information the day before so I was able to touch base about the pickup time. Munich’s weather can change quickly so pack for both rain and sunshine. Overall we enjoyed each spot visited. Munich is a beautiful city with lots to see 💕
