Private Tour: Khor Virap, Areni, Noravank

We had a fantastic tour which included some classic Armenian sights and a delicious lunch. Arsen was a fantastic guide, with great local knowledge. He even went out of his way to return some wine to us, after we stupidly left it behind in his car. Thank you!

Arman was fabulous! We only had a few days and his recommended itinerary was perfect. He was always on time, great with communication, very accomodating of our requests and provided excellent commentary along the way. His knowledge of Armenia’s history is without peer. Liked it: 1) safe driving 2) shows and stops at key locations 3) allow you to look around and take photos, this is a very big plus compared to tours by bus, there is a minute and no possibility of a normal walk and watch everything! 4) drive and communicate comfortably 5) knows where to eat deliciously, the food was fresh, you can find food for every taste, the children also ate deliciously and are satisfied 6) knows when you can meet mountain goats, very impressive 7) ... etc. There's a lot of upside, not to mention. We are happy with everyone, especially with children to go very comfortable.

All meeting is our expectation, excellence. All agreed places were visited on time with accompanying excellence tour guide, Mr. Armand with professional matter in helping our personal matter for buying with local people, etc. that is great.

We hired a car from Gira Travel for a day trip to visit - khor virap, noravank, areni winery, Geghard and Garni. Our driver/guide - Armen came in the morning and took us for the trip. He was a very nice and knowledgeable perform with loads of information about the place we were visiting. It was a great day. We had so much fun. We liked the tour so much that we booked another tour on the next day. This time we went to lake sevan, dilijan and a ski resort. Both the days Armen was with us. Both the days was super fun and we liked it very much. We can say that Gira Travel is the best. They are professional. They look after the customers. If I ever come back to Yerevan I will book tour with them again. Recommended 100%.

We recently visited Armenia, during which time Aram took care of us (as a private driver cum guide) right from picking up from Tbilisi on the 15/11/19 to returning us back there on the 19/11/19. He is safe and punctual driver. Has local friends everywhere he goes. Communication was easy and prompt. He helped us with a the sight seeing, took us to local markets, suggested good eating places, helped us with local SIM card and money exchange, pretty much everything we needed in the place. He has very good knowledge base of history, politics, culture of not only his own country but surrounding countries as well. We recommend him to anyone visiting Armenia needing local help with transport and guide. We wish him well in future. Thank you Aram for everything.
