Eine wunderschöne zinnoberrote Brücke in der Nähe der Hakone-Yumoto Station, die als Fotopunkt bekannt ist. Hortensie ist eine Blume, die im Juni blüht, und Hakone ist auch eine berühmte Hortensie, daher wurde sie Hortensienbrücke genannt.
Ein Schrein mit einer Geschichte von 1.200 Jahren oder mehr. Insbesondere das am See stehende Torii (Holztor) wird seit kurzem als Ort beliebt, an dem Sie einzigartige Fotos machen können. Das zinnoberrote Torii im klaren blauen See ist eine fantastische Aussicht!
Piratenschiff Hakone (Hafen Motohakone): Ein großes Boot für Kreuzfahrten auf dem Ashi-See. Sie können die herrliche Aussicht auf den Ashi-See und den außergewöhnlichen Raum an Bord genießen, der mit französischen, britischen und schwedischen Schiffsmodellen dekoriert ist.
Im Bahnhof Togendai können Sie authentische Grillgerichte und Gerichte aus regionalen Zutaten genießen und dabei den Blick auf den Ashi-See und die Piratenschiffe schweifen lassen.
Wenn Sie mit der Hakone-Seilbahn fahren, werden Sie plötzlich vom aufsteigenden Rauch von Owakudani direkt vor Ihren Augen begrüßt. Dieser Anblick wird Ihnen sicherlich den Atem rauben. An klaren Tagen können Sie auch die atemberaubende Aussicht auf den Berg Fuji genießen. Die Seilbahn fährt etwa im Minutentakt und besteht aus Gondeln, die Platz für 18 Personen bieten.
cu-mo Hakone: Dieser neue Ort auf einer Höhe von etwa 757 Metern bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die wunderschöne Landschaft von Hakone und die Möglichkeit, Fußbäder zu genießen. Die Aussicht von der Aussichtsplattform ist atemberaubend und macht es zum perfekten Ort, um nach Ihren Reisen zu entspannen und neue Kraft zu tanken.
Owakudani, das vor 3.000 Jahren durch den Ausbruch des Hakone-Vulkans entstanden ist, stößt immer noch weißen Rauch aus dem ganzen Tal aus. Hakone-Tozan-Seilbahn (Sounzan nach Gora): Die Hakone-Tozan-Seilbahn, die 1921 eröffnet wurde (Taisho 10), ist die älteste Seilbahn in der Region Kanto mit einer reichen Geschichte. Sie verbindet die Gora-Station der Hakone-Tozan-Eisenbahn mit der Sounzan-Station der Hakone-Seilbahn und überwindet dabei einen steilen Anstieg mit einem Höhenunterschied von 214 Metern.

We wanted to do the Hakone loop but didn’t want to deal with the logistics of figuring out the trains, cable car, ropeway, pirate ship and bus back to Hakone station because we have two kids with us. Shinobu was our guide and he was amazing!!! So knowledgeable - he helped us with all the tickets (even when there was a mix up with my kids Hakone free pass vouchers). He was great and tolerant with my very wild kids. At the end of the tour he actually went out of his way to walk us to an onsen about 15 mins away that we never would have known about. We have small tattoos so I was worried about being able to have an onsen experience but he was very reassuring. We had a great time all day!
Our guide, Yoshi, was very thorough and prepared with lots of information . We had a great time and learned a lot. There was quite a bit of walking but we saw a lot of beautiful views and extraordinary sights. It was a beautiful day to see Mt. Fuji.

We had a very good experience overall with this private tour in Hakone. Our guide Osamu was excellent — very friendly, knowledgeable, and organized throughout the day. He shared a lot of interesting information about the area, history, and local culture, which made the tour much more enjoyable. The only downside was that 6 hours felt too short for Hakone, especially because of the long queues for the ropeway and buses, which seem to be very common in the area. We lost quite a lot of time waiting in lines, so later we had to rush through some of the attractions to stay on schedule. I would recommend either extending the tour time or planning fewer stops in order to enjoy each place more calmly. Still, thanks to our guide’s professionalism and positive attitude, we had a memorable day and were able to see many beautiful places in Hakone.
Great experience would recommend the 8 hour trip. Enough to do in one day. Hakonne is a beautiful and relaxing place having come from Tokyo. Yutaka Sumita was our excellent English speaking tour guide. He explained the planned itinerary to us and accommodated any requests or changes. We were happy we got a wonderful guide to take us around Hakone for the day. Eriko met us at train station and assisted us in all transportation means and actvities and was very flexible to what we wanted to do. She spoke good English and translated so much for us. We did part of the Hakone loop, the pitate ship, ate the black eggs which were delicious, wentt to small museum to learn about the volcanic springs we enjoyed in Hakone, saw a beautiful garden, took place in a nice tea ceremony there and Eriko took care of all the communication we needed to make the day enjoyable and fun. I would recommend her for your tour. It was nice not trying to do everything on our own for the day for a change:) We were repsnsible for all transportation, lunch, and event fees throughout the day which we knew.
Atsushi was a perfect guide as we did the entire Hakone loop and even had time to explore the Open Air Museum. We accomplished so much and Atsushi added plenty of informative tidbits along the way - even helping us navigate a very crowded Sunday in Hakone.
All in all, a great day out, doing things you probably could do yourself but it takes any stress out of the day having all planned out in a logical and timely fashion. Tatsu was a great guide - no information overload, just enthusiastic detail and explanation of Japanese culture and traditions. The tour was conducted at a pace we were comfortable with and yes, I guess we were lucky wirh the weather but a second perfect day of Mount Fuji views, enjoying the Ashinoko Lake cruise and Odawara steaming Volcano landscape in between the Peace Torii Gate & Shrine and lastly the Gora gardens. Ideally you aditionally need the Hakone freepass, which we purhased at the start of the day.
Great visit with Ikuko that was organized, listening throughout this beautiful visit. She was available and responsive before the visit as well. An effective family visit that we recommend.
