Private Tour Ägyptisches Museum , Islamisches Kairo & Altes Koptisches Kairo

Great visit and guide in Italian prepared and very helpful. The museum was as great as the citadel and the mosque. The market to see but always accompanied by a safety guide the number of people is really high. Recommended. The guide is called Lido really recommended.

Very enjoyable excursion to see some interesting places in Cairo. Traffic was difficult but driver was good. Museum was crowded as expected and some exhibits in transition, but a good visit. Mohamed is knowledgeable about many of the items on display. He took photos for me as well. Coptic church was interesting, very crowded but got to see most of it. Citadel certainly has commanding view and today we could even see pyramids, not much haze. Mosque was interesting, too. Mohamed was a good guide. Good experience, would recommend it.

We had an afternoon until 6pm. He organized a pick up and drop off at airport for us, provided a wonderful driver Ehab, and driver, Husain. We covered all of it and felt that we really saw and learned a lot.

The tour through the city of Cairo went exactly as planned. The driver and our guide Ehab Mehana were always punctual, very flexible and accommodating to our needs. Ehab is completing his PhD in Egyptian archaeology so he was extremely knowledgable and very well informed as far as history of the city, Mosques and Churches were concerned. I wasn't sure if drinks and lunches were paid for by me as part of the tour, but all refreshments were provided free. Ehab also showed us a very humanitarian side to him always giving the poor a few pounds and helping the less fortunate. All in all a very educational tour with a humble, well informed guide.

Yassar was a pleasure to meet and is ver knowledgeable about Egyptian history. I highly recommended his services. I had a great time!

We were confused on what we had signed up for. When we were greeted in the lobby by Karem he laid all our concerns to rest. What we were confused about was "yes we are going into the museum - no the entrance fee is not included in our price" ... hey really this tour was considerbly less expensive and when you add in the entrance fees your still considerbly less expensive. Karem was so over the top knowledgable about everything we were looking at ... and he was so passionate about what we were doing and seeing... he never got tired ... he showed us the Egyptian museum with so much to offer ... and when he showed us the mosque and all the details of being muslum wow ... great teacher ... if you can get Karem you don't have to worry about broken English he talks like he is crom Chicago ... excellent to listen too ... Egyptian Museum was 280 Pounds entrance (about $17 USD) and the Citidel was 230 E Pounds (about $14USD) and that was for 2 people ... yes by all means this tour was excellent ... the only down side is when you book it through Viator and you ask them a question their answer is not clear and seems more interested in telling me what other things I can buy rather than just answering my questions ... Sarah was pretty frustrating with not giving clear answers to questions....
