Wir besichtigen die berühmtesten Gebäude aus dem 16., 17., 18., 19. und 20. (Von außen) Wir werden die Überreste des wichtigsten Gebäudes des mexikanischen Reiches (Tenochtitlán) vor der Ankunft der Spanier im Jahr 1519 sehen. Hier finden wir maßstabsgetreue Modelle über das prähispanische Tenochtitlán.
Wir werden das Innere der Hauptkirche Mexikos und des UNESCO-Weltkulturerbes besichtigen. Dies ist die römisch-katholische Erzdiözese Mexiko. Es wurde auf dem ehemaligen heiligen Bezirk der Azteken in der Nähe des Templo Mayor errichtet. Wir besichtigen den wunderschönen Innenraum, wo Sie die 16 Kapellen und den Hauptaltar sehen werden.
Wir machen einen kleinen Spaziergang um den Hauptplatz namens Zocalo, wo Sie unsere riesige Nationalflagge am Mast in der Mitte des Zocalo wehen sehen. Dieser wird jeden Tag um 6 Uhr morgens von einer Gruppe Soldaten in einer kleinen offiziellen Zeremonie aufgestellt und täglich um 18 Uhr wieder entfernt. Wir besuchen die Hauptlobby der U-Bahn, wo Sie drei maßstabsgetreue Modelle unseres Hauptplatzes aus drei verschiedenen Jahrhunderten sehen können: 1521, 1824 und 1900. Außerdem besichtigen wir unser Bronzedenkmal über die Gründung von Tenochtitlán.
Auf dieser Seite erfahren wir, wo die Überreste von Hernán Cortés (der wichtigsten spanischen Eroberung) aufbewahrt werden. Sie werden den Ort kennen, an dem sich der Tradition nach die beiden Rassen trafen: die Azteken und die Spanier. Dieser Ort ist durch ein Wandgemälde aus Kacheln gekennzeichnet, auf dem Moctezuma und Hernán Cortés zu sehen sind. Davor sehen Sie einen großen Kopf von Quetzalcoatl aus Stein aus der prähispanischen Zeit, der heute Teil der Ecke im Museum von Mexiko-Stadt ist.
Wir werden durch die Madero-Straße gehen, die vom Zócalo zum Palast der Schönen Künste führt. Hier kennen Sie einige wichtige Gebäude wie das erste Kino, den Palast des ersten mexikanischen Kaisers, das Haus der Fliesen, den Latino-Turm usw.
Wir werden dieses ikonische Gebäude besichtigen, das seit 1934 vollständig aus Marmor besteht. Wir werden die Lobby aus rotem Marmor besichtigen und Sie können wunderschöne Fotos machen. Im Inneren können Sie den Laden besuchen und Souvenirs kaufen.
Sie werden diesen symbolträchtigen und großen Park neben dem Palast der Schönen Künste kennen, der einige Denkmäler und Brunnen enthält.

The pick up and return to our VRBO was great. If it's sunny, bring a hat or umbrella. Wear comfortable walking shoes and layered clothes if it is cool in the morning. Our guide, Andrea, was super knowledgeable and detailed. We are glad we had her as our guide.

The tour was perfectly organized - pick up and transfer - perfect! Tour guide was very boring and his English was pretty poor. I consider it waste of money. I was in Mexico City before and had tours around the town. So far this one was the worst.

Roberto was friendly but was not able to provide much information on the history of the city or of the sites we visited. I am not sure if this is because he was not proficient enough in English, or if because he didn’t have enough knowledge (or both). The actual walking tour was only 1.5 hours long because of this. We were very disappointed.

The tour guide, Diego, was really great, he deserves five stars on his own. However, the company seemed very new at this, and was not good to deal with. My tour was on Christmas Eve, and they asked if I wanted to purchase extra time and entry tickets to go into different locations, so I said yes, and then when the tour guide arrived, he let me know that most things were closed early because of the holiday, and that I wouldn’t be able to go into all the places. I said that was fine as long as I got a refund of the money, which he assured me would be no problem, however, while the company said they would give me a refund, they said they were out of money right now, and would have to give it to me when they had more in. It wasn’t until I threatened to make a complaint with Viator that they had the money back to me within a few hours. It’s unfortunate that I can’t give a higher rating for the tour guide, but I would recommend not booking with this company.

Great tour to understand fundamental history of the city. Our tour guide was great. Knowledgeable and answered all questions and gave details. The only thing and not tour fault the cathedral and ruin were blocked by Government for protest.and zocalo was full of market stands that took away the feel of what this site was all about. .
