This was our second visit and it was even better the second time. Just spectacular. Having a tour guide adds so so much more to the experience. If you are gonna splurge on something in Florence I would highly recommend picking a tour guide to see David!
We thoroughly enjoyed the experience - we tired by the end, but our guide Tomaso was very knowledgeable and added an element of humour to the tour that made it very pleasant. He explained the highlights in a way that showed the history behind the artist and his thinking, I would recommend thus tour and the guide.
Our guide, Leticia, was personable, knowledgeable, and interesting. It was delightful spending time with her. We spoke about the sculptures, the history, and artists, but she also gave us recommendations for other things to do and see in Florence. She added a lot to our experience and we are grateful to her.
Stefana was excellent, personable and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure strolling with her through the streets of Florence and touring the Accademia. She also gave us some recommendations for local cuisine which was the icing on the cake for our trip. 10/10
We had an incredible experience touring the Accademia Gallery. Giacomo was an amazing tour guide. He is extremely knowledgeable about all of the artwork in the gallery, including the David. We had a very small group (4 people total), so the experience was extremely personable. He told us his background was in architecture, so we actually had a mini architectural tour of the Duomo along the way. Cannot recommend Giacomo enough, he was the best. Very friendly. Highly recommended!
