Wir befinden uns im Herzen der Stadt. Gegenüber liegt das Ferragamo-Geschäft, im Zentrum die Piazza Santa Trinita und links die gleichnamige gotische Basilika mit Fresken aus dem 15. Jahrhundert. Von hier aus hat man auch einen guten Blick auf alle Brücken der Stadt.
Piazza Ognissanti und freier Besuch der Kirche Ognissanti, in der der in diesem Viertel geborene Maler Sandro Botticelli und Carolina Bonaparte, die Schwester Napoleons, begraben liegen. Die Kirche ist außerdem für die berühmten Fresken von Domenico Ghirlandaio und Botticelli selbst bekannt. Das wichtigste Werk in der Kirche ist zweifellos Giottos Kruzifix, besser bekannt als das Allerheiligenkreuz.

Ein einzigartiger dreistufiger Brunnen befindet sich auf dem Weg von der Piazzale Michelangelo zur Kirche San Miniato al Monte. Verpassen Sie diesen wunderschönen Brunnen nicht bei Sonnenuntergang.
Die Abtei der Benediktinerbrüder, erbaut von 1013 bis 1018, ist die älteste Kirche in Florenz, die im florentinischen romanischen Stil errichtet wurde. Eine kuriose Randnotiz ist, dass dort der Autor des Buches Pinocchio, Carlo Lorenzini da Collodi, begraben liegt.
Das Tor von San Miniato wurde 1320 von Arnolfo di Cambio an der Straße erbaut, die die Stadt mit dem Hügel verband, auf dem der Kirchenkomplex von San Miniato steht.
Wir erreichen die Piazzale Michelangelo, von wo aus man einen einzigartigen Ausblick genießen kann. Sie werden die gesamte Stadt Florenz von oben mit ihren Schönheiten bewundern können: Ponte Vecchio, Dom, Piazza Signoria und vieles mehr.

They didn’t show up and they didn’t let us know that they’re not coming. We waited outside under the sun with two young kids.
The advertised title of this tour is "Private Tour of the Historic Center of Florence by Golf Car". VERY MISLEADING! I booked this because it was one of the few that said it toured "the Historic CENTER" of Florence. and I paid over $100 to go the same day. It was exactly the same tour as the MUCH cheaper ones (also ones from different companies) that correctly say that the tour gives "over-views" from the hills above Florence. There WAS NO "HISTORIC CENTER". Simone was very nice -- and knowledgable. And we had the great views from the hills that other tours have. Just NOT as Advertised -- and I am highly disappointed in Viator.
Great way to see many sights in a short time. Riding around in the golf cart provides a nice breeze and shade on a very hot day. Our guide, Freddie was very kind and informative. He also took very nice pictures of us at the various locations. I would definitely recommend the tour to anyone. It is especially good if you are not spending a lot of time in Florence and you want to see many things in a short time.
The driver was very informed about the city, accommodating to our needs, helpful in getting great family photos and covered all the highlights of Florence.
The time was incorrect and the tour started a half hour later than expected
Those who book this experience save themselves a lot of walking! Since I only had 2 days, it was exactly the right choice. The advantage was also that I was the only participant, which was absolutely fantastic. All the stops at many sights were beautiful, and the view of Florence from Piazzale Michelangelo was amazing! 👍💯 Overall, it was an interesting, historical tour that I can recommend to anyone who doesn't have much time or doesn't want to walk a lot. The inclines are not easy either! The driver and my tour guide were nice, explained everything well, and answered questions. Thank you very much.
We had a wonderful golf cart tour with Simone. All of our family including kids ages 10-17 enjoyed the drive. He provided great context for our stops, and we got out to see a variety of churches and beautiful overlooks. This was one of the highlights of our time in Florence. The golf carts have seats for 5 passengers plus driver.
That using the map from Viator puts you at wrong location. It is synched to wrong location for pickup. The gentleman that gave us our tour was excellent he found us and came to us and then explained all the sites very well. Got azing photos
What a treat! Fantastic guide Simone - so friendly, knowledgeable & fun - nothing was too much trouble for him. We got to see a part of Florence which we’d have never done on foot. Highly recommend!!
Great experience seeing the city highlights...Michelangelo square and the most beautiful photo spit for Florence. Simone was wonderful as a guide. These private tours are the best!!
