Die ersten Amerikaner, die die Normandie betraten, wurden in Sainte Mère Église mit dem Fallschirm abgesprungen. Entdecken Sie alle Geheimnisse mit Ihrem fachkundigen Guide von DDAY. Diese Nacht vom 5. auf den 6. Juni 1944 war lang und traurig. (nicht inbegriffen) Sie können dort das berühmte Airborne Museum besuchen.
Der erste Strand der Normandie, der am Tag der Landung in der Normandie von den Amerikanern begangen wurde. Die Männer der 4. Infanteriedivision werden dem ersten feindlichen Feuer begegnen, aber heroisch die Befreiung Europas beginnen. (Nicht inbegriffen Möglicher Besuch des Utah Beach Museums)
Eines der riskantesten Manöver, aber auch das statistischste wurde dem 2. Ranger-Bataillon unter dem Befehl von Col Rudder gegeben. Die Klippen waren nicht der beste Ort für eine Truppenausschiffung, aber dies war ein Muss und Sie werden es dank Ihres Führers entdecken.
Dieser 8 km lange Strand ist weltweit als Schauplatz tragischer Schlachten bekannt. Die Sterne waren am 6. Juni 1944 nicht ausgerichtet, damit die alliierten Truppen sicher landen konnten. Ihr Guide wird Ihnen das Warum dieses "blutigen Omaha"-Strandes verraten.

Kate was a wonderful guide- so knowledgeable about WWII history in the area! She knew facts and dates and places, but seasoned it with personal, true stories of people who lived in Normandy at that time. At one point she had us in tears. We enjoyed our day immensely and would highly recommend a guided day with Kate.

We had an excellent experience with Arthur, a truly top notch guide. We were picked us up at our hotel outside of town in a new very comfortable car. Arthur was very knowledgeable and engaging. He had wealth of interesting details about the battle of Normandy and Allied invasion. And we enjoyed interacting with him. He took us to great spots that weren’t crowded but had incredible views of the beaches. Definitely recommend GoldBeachCompany and Arthur!

We did a 2 day private tour with Gold Beach company. The tour included Utah and Omaha beaches on day 1, as well as the american cemetary, Sainte-Mere-Eglise and Pointe-du-Hoc. The second day included Gold and Juno beaches, Batterie de Longes-sur-Mer, and lunch in Arromanches-les-Bains. The second day also included a Calvados tasting which we requested. Each day included a trip to one of the many museums in the area, and we were able to choose the museums which interested us most. Our guide was Adrien, and he was great!! He was very knowledgeable about the whole area, and was easily able to customize the trip to our preferences. Also, Gold Beach company was very responsive to my questions before the trip. They were very easy to work with. I highly recommend Gold Beach Company, and Adrien.

Great visit to all of the ww2 sites in Normandy. Kate was tremendous. She is knowledgeable and passionate. This was my 3rd time touring with her and she was as enthusiastic as the first time I toured with her
