This was an amazing tour and I highly recommend it! Garth was our tour guide and he was great. He allowed us a little extra time at our favorite site (Butchard Gardens) and we just cut the other areas a little short but was still able to see them all and thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Only on a private tour would you be able to do this. He gave us fun facts about the area and we even had a couple of trivia questions which we love to epically fail at lol! The communication was great from beginning to end! We didn’t need a passport for this tour. It was comfortable in a nice clean van and Garth was great company! He became our family photographer and our uncle for the day! Please note they don’t have Venmo or Apple Pay so bring cash for the tip because he definitely deserves one!

We had a spectacular tour with John C. John was a local and very familiar with metro Victoria & countryside, the history, navigating traffic and road closures. He was also very thoughtful of the elders in our group who moved a little slower and needed extra time. John had a broad range of knowledge! He was familiar with the local flora & fauna, conservation, native American history, etc. John was also very flexible and adjusted easily as we made various requests to stop and visit sites of interest. He was also an excellent driver. Elizabeth who booked our tour was also wonderful & interested in our objectives for the tour. I would definitely call EV Tours again for private touring of the Victoria & Butchart Gardens area. Thank you John & Elizabeth :)

It was a fun tour, we had a very informative guide, John, and we enjoyed our time strolling around the countryside and learning interesting facts about Victoria. It was a long drive though, I would prefer walking next time. We saw a lot of the country, but not much of the city, wish we could have stayed in Victoria longer to be able to see it more. Nevertheless, thanks Ev tours and John.

Yes, between the hour and thirty minutes to and from the city to Butchart Gardens, and exploring the gardens for 90 minutes, it leaves not too long for exploring the city. We encourage all guests to let us know their preferences. We hope you return for another tour.

Butchart Gardens were the reason for the trip and were the highlight of the day. Our guide, Elizabeth from EV Tours, walked with us and was very knowledgeable on the history and and the plants in the garden. She also gave us a driving tour through Victoria and and along the coast telling us about the history and culture of the city. We had only a few hours for our visit and Elizabeth made the most of our time. Victoria is a beautiful city with a lot to do and see. I highly recommend a visit there with enough time to fully enjoy. We will return.

After two and a half years we were finally able to take this tour. Elizabeth was a delight to work with in getting us rescheduled time after time due to Covid 19. Elizabeth made a point of coming to meet us as we started our tour. Richard was our guide for the day. He was very accommodating throughout the tour. We had reservations at Butchart Gardens for high tea and he checked to make sure that we were all set for that. We would definitely recommend EV Tours for a full day tour experience.
