Hotel oder Unterkunft Abholung in Santa Marta. Treffen Sie Ihren zertifizierten lokalen Reiseleiter und Fahrer, und starten Sie dann den privaten Transfer zum Tayrona Nationalpark entlang der Straße, die die Ausläufer der Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta durchquert. Unterwegs erklärt Ihnen Ihr Fortgeschrittener die Region, stellt kurz den Tagesplan vor und beantwortet Ihre ersten Fragen.
Am Haupteingang von El Zaino kümmert sich Ihr zertifizierter Fortgeschrittener persönlich um alle Tickets, Versicherungen und die Besucherregistrierung – keine Warteschlange. Während dieser Zeit können Sie die Toilette benutzen, Snacks oder Wasser kaufen oder Last-Minute-Artikel abholen. Sobald alles fertig ist, treffen Sie Ihren Fortgeschrittener wieder und fahren mit dem Privatfahrzeug in den Park, Richtung Ausgangspunkt der Wanderung: Cañaveral
Beginnen Sie Ihren ökologischen Spaziergang durch den Tayrona Nationalpark mit einem sanften 4,5 km langen Wanderabschnitt, der von Cañaveral ausgeht. Dieser Teil der Wanderung bietet schattige Dschungelwege, Holzsteige und milde Hänge. Unterwegs genießen Sie üppige tropische Vegetation, Meeresbrisen und die Möglichkeit, Affen, Eidechsen oder Vögel zu beobachten, bevor Sie weiter in Richtung Playa La Piscina fahren – einem ruhigen und malerischen Strandbereich tiefer im Park.
Nachdem wir den Strand Arenilla passiert haben, erreichen wir Playa La Piscina – eine ruhige, natürlich geschützte Bucht, ideal zum Schwimmen und Entspannen. Dieser Stopp ist auch ein Entscheidungspunkt : Sie können ein kurzes Bad nehmen, Fotos machen oder sich im Schatten ausruhen, bevor Sie das letzte Stück in Richtung Cabo San Juan fortsetzen. Der Weg von hier bis zum Kap beträgt etwa 1,5 km, in der Regel dauert es etwa 30 Minuten (jede Richtung) in einem gleichmäßigen Tempo. Es liegt ganz bei Ihnen, ob Sie länger hier bleiben oder weiterwandern, um die volle Wanderung zu absolvieren.
Sie haben Cabo San Juan erreicht – den berühmtesten Strand im Tayrona Nationalpark. Der kurze Weg von La Piscina führt über einen sandigen und felsigen Pfad zu einem Panoramablick auf türkisfarbenes Wasser, goldenen Sand, Granitbrocken und üppigen Dschungel in einer atemberaubenden Szenerie. Es liegt ganz bei Ihnen, ob Sie ein erfrischendes Bad nehmen, sich unter den Handflächen entspannen oder einfach die Aussicht genießen und Fotos machen, bevor Sie zurückfahren. Ein kleiner Kiosk steht zur Verfügung, wo Sie Getränke kaufen oder Toiletten betreten können (auf eigene Kosten). Nachdem wir diesen Spot genossen haben, beginnen wir die Rückwanderung in Richtung La Piscina
Nach dem Besuch von Cabo San Juan kehren wir nach Playa La Piscina zurück, auf demselben malerischen Weg zurück. Diese ruhige, geschützte Bucht ist ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen, Schwimmen oder einfach nur die Aussicht genießen. Es liegt ganz bei Ihnen, ob Sie ein erfrischendes Bad nehmen oder diese Zeit für ein optionales Mittagessen auf eigene Kosten nutzen. Einige Reisende entscheiden sich, hier zu entspannen, während andere lieber ein ruhiges Tempo beibehalten. Nach dieser Pause geht es weiter auf dem Weg Richtung Cañaveral, um die Rückwanderung abzuschließen.
Wir beginnen die Rückwanderung von Playa La Piscina zurück in Richtung Cañaveral Sektor und folgen dem gleichen ökologischen Weg umgekehrt. Dieser 4,5 km lange Abschnitt dauert in der Regel weniger Zeit als die Hinwanderung, da es weniger Informationspausen gibt. Trotzdem können wir kurz anhalten, wenn wir Affen, Vögel oder andere Wildtiere auf dem Weg sehen. Sobald wir den Parkplatz erreicht haben, wartet Ihr privates Fahrzeug – zusammen mit Flaschenwasser zur Erfrischung vor der Rückfahrt nach Santa Marta.
Nach Abschluss der Wanderung steigen wir in das Privatfahrzeug, das am Parkplatz Cañaveral auf die Rückfahrt nach Santa Marta wartet. Dies ist ein großartiger Moment, um sich auszuruhen, die Klimaanlage zu genießen oder einfach nach einem vollen Tag voller Natur und Abenteuer zu entspannen. Viele Reisende nutzen die Gelegenheit, während der malerischen Fahrt zurück in die Stadt zu schlafen oder über das Erlebnis nachzudenken. Die Rückgabe ist in Ihrem Hotel oder an demselben Ort, an dem die Tour begann, inbegriffen.

Overall was a nice experience. Weather was perfect. Easy hike from the parking lot in the national park to the Cabo San Juan. Pick up was timely and flexible. I opted for an earlier 620am pickup. But can be whatever you decide with Cesar. Maybe I was lucky, got in on a Friday and it was very quiet and peaceful only seeing a handful while getting to the end point. The beaches and view were excellent and not that many people. Cesar was informative about the different insects/animals/birds and kept an eye open for monkeys. We saw bats, crabs, ants, rocks. Overall easy hike. Very convenient as the driver was waiting readily when we got back and didn't have to wait. When we arrived back at the parking lot it seemed like several people were waiting for the shuttle to get back to the gate..but in my case, the driver was there already which was nice. Overall was fun and got in safely in the park and to the destination and back to the hotel.... worth the $268 USD/pp? Maybe $200 would be better priced. I was solo so I did pay another premium, almost double. (Understood, TA or viator does charge a fee to these operators so thr markup has to be significant) Price paid is slightly pricey... Understood, the whole activity can be for 8-10hrs. Which on a per hour basis, makes sense... but one suggestion is perhaps to include the lunch and a drink as part of the cost (as this is only about 40k-50k COP ~ $12-15USD) But all was good. Can it be done on your own? Certainly,.. The cost of convenience does play into it... Cesar was great 10/10 though

Our family had a great time with Cesar last week on our tour of Tayrona Park. He met us on time at our hotel and drove us to the park and handled all of the entrance fees, etc. On the hike, he did a nice job of pointing out the local flora and fauna, and we enjoyed seeing everything from small bats to caiman to howler monkeys. He hiked at a pace tailored to our group, which allowed for us to spend some great time at two of the beautiful beaches in the park. After a relaxing afternoon at the beach, we were able to walk back a bit later than others and enjoy the amazing peace and natural beauty of the forest. It was a memorable day, and Cesar was a fantastic guide!

Where do I begin? We booked this experience less than 48 hours prior because we had a free day in Santa Marta and wanted to explore nature. I do not have enough space to convey our absolute gratitude for César and the unforgettable day he provided. We loved the day so much that we keep saying we would take 100 more tours with him. It is officially the greatest tour experience I've ever had, and we felt like we'd made a friend at the end of it. We can't stop talking about it. To start, César contacted us quickly to arrange a pickup in Santa Marta. He then provided an informational sheet to prepare us for our hike. It was so informative that we had zero questions or concerns beforehand. He arrived at our hotel lobby 10 minutes early to pick us up with a private chauffeur. Our driver, Rafa, was exceptional. He drove so well that we were completely at ease on our first morning in a new place. I have never been so comfortable with another driver behind the wheel in my life. On our way to Tayrona Park, César gave us information about Colombia, the geography, and the history of the land. He made the drive more fun and made us excited for the arrival. At the park, he handled the tickets and insurance while we got water and snacks. We had zero responsibility or concern. In the park, he knew every person we passed. He gave us insider tips, showed us countless animals and experiences we never would have seen/found ourselves, and educated us on the flora and fauna. He had a pen light to help us spot things - which I deeply appreciated. He notified us of every slippery spot on the path and every branch overhead, ensuring our safety 100% of the way. We trusted him so much on the walk that we were literally following his footsteps. We also talked the whole day, as conversation with him was easy and fun. The hike itself stunned us. The views were spectacular, the water was incredible, and our lucky animal sightings took our breath away. We entered with low expectations and left feeling like we'd walked out of a dream. He even had a surprise for us that went above and beyond all expectation. César truly planned every detail of this day with such expert precision and thought that we could simply be along for the ride. We weren't troubled by anything, never felt unsafe, and were sad when it was over. We couldn't possibly express our gratitude and contentment enough. I would recommend this to every person visiting Santa Marta or Colombia and only wish that I could bring César with me on other trips. We truly loved our time with him.

Cesar is the best! He was a very careful and knowledgable guide. He handled tickets ahead of time so we didn't have to wait in line, and he knows every tricky spot on the trails.
