Eine Tour, um den schönen Norden von Mauritius mit seinen vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten zu entdecken. Im Rahmen dieser Tour besuchen Sie viele Highlights an einem Tag: Caudan Waterfront Mall, Handwerksmarkt, Cita del Fort, SSR Botanischer Garten, Chateau de Labourdonais Rhumerie, wo wir Rum mit Zucker herstellen, Grand Baie Strand, der die touristischste Gegend in Mauretius ist, pereybere ein sehr schöner Strand und schließlich Rotdachkirche am Cap Malheureux.

Die Zitadellenfestung thront auf dem Hügel Petite Montague auf einer Höhe von 100 Metern. Das Fort ist auch als Adelaide Fort bekannt (benannt nach der Frau von William II, als die Briten Land in Port Louis besaßen) und bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Hafen, die örtliche Pferderennbahn (Champs de Mars) und die gesamte Stadt Port Louis .
Der Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden (manchmal abgekürzt als SSR Botanical Garden), allgemein bekannt als Pamplemousses Botanical Garden, ist eine beliebte Touristenattraktion in Pamplemousses, in der Nähe von Port Louis, Mauritius, und der älteste botanische Garten der südlichen Hemisphäre. Berühmt für seinen langen Teich mit riesigen Seerosen (Victoria amazonica), wurde der Garten 1770 von Pierre Poivre (1719 - 1786) angelegt und erstreckt sich über eine Fläche von rund 37 Hektar. Neben den riesigen Seerosen gibt es im Garten auch Gewürze, Ebenhölzer, Zuckerrohr und 85 Palmensorten aus Mittelamerika, Asien, Afrika und den Inseln rund um den Indischen Ozean. Viele Bäume wurden von führenden Persönlichkeiten und Königen der Welt gepflanzt, darunter Prinzessin Margaret, Gräfin von Snowdon, Indira Gandhi, François Mitterrand und Robert Mugabe.

North Mauritius has beautiful beaches, a colonial house & rhumerie and the botanical garden.. all worth visiting!! Chucky was a great driver and guide .. we had a great day!
We had a good day with Mervin. The discovery of the capital and the north of the island is very interesting. Please note, the entrance fees for the garden and the castle are to be paid separately.
It was great tour with a lot of activities. The guide was very nice and showed us nice places. I recommend this tour.
We visited the Citadel and saw the horse racing track. We then went on to the Waterfront where we had some retail therapy. There are historical places to visit also. Finally we visited the Pampamousses Botanical Gardens and this was an hour spent in a luxurious natural paradise. Flora and fauna all around.
Great tour of the northern part of Mauritius! We got to see all the major sights and our guide Sailen provided interesting information throughout the trip.
Well worth the money for a full day of taxi rides to the sights. You can sort of tailor itinerary a bit if you want to. It was nice visiting the colonial house, The Domaine de Labourdonnais. It has been very well restored from wood mites and water damage. There was supposed to be a rum tasting tour included with our entry ticket but we were told on entry that it wouldn't be happening that day. We asked for an explanation but the lady didn't really give one. Our last stop was at the waterfront at Port Louis which is a mixture of shops and restaurants and nice to while away a couple of hour's. We left there at about half past 4 and unfortunately we were caught in traffic and it took us over 2hrs to get back to our hotel that should have been about 45 minutes away so beware of that.
Chucky was a great driver / guide. Arrival times and arrangements were communicated in advance so there were no concerns about getting in the wrong vehicle or approaching the wrong guide. He showed us how best to visit each of the stops and make the most of our time at each location. Driving was safe and the vehicle was in perfect condition. Recommended for anyone who wants to tour Mauritius!
Thanks to Asif for this beautiful day discovering the capital and its citadel, the beautiful Pamplemousses Garden, and the Domaine de Labourdonnais. We made several photo stops at Grand Baie, Perebeyre, Cap Malheureux.
We went out with Asif today. He was filled with a host of knowledge about his Island, answered all our questions with ease. Car was absolutely spotless with great working AC. He allowed us to alter the intinerary also We thoroughly enjoyed our day.😊Well worth it
