Beschreibung

Maciej was a great tour guide. He catered to our specific requests and offered ideas, too. This was so important to us as we toured with our toddler (he was great with our toddler, too - even brought him snacks for the drive!!). Highly recommend and hope to book with him again on a future trip!! Maciej is also multilingual, which is very helpful when touring, and knows a lot of relevant facts that made the tour that much more informative. He was also able to pivot plans frequently to accommodate our little one as well, which was very much appreciated.
My husband & I took a day trip from Berlin to Szczecin Poland. It was the best tour we had in our 23 day European vacation! Maciej Krupski & his partner Sabrina were warm, entertaining & extremely knowledgeable. They asked our opinion on their scheduled itinerary & made the trip just right for us. We saw great sights & gained a good understanding of the Polish people & the struggles of their country. We absolutely recommend them for any travel plans & we look forward to using them the next time we are in Europe.
This was an all day tour into Szczecin Poland from Berlin. It was very informative & enjoyable! We visited historical areas, a museum of the city & a boat cruise in the harbor, & enjoyed several types of local cuisine. Our guides Maciej & Sabrina were the best!! We thoroughly enjoyed their company & learned a great deal!
This was a highlight of out trip to Berlin. We got to go into Poland. Wonderful country. Our guide, Marcyn was fantastic. He was well-versed in both German and Polish history. He took us to sites that were very good to see. Our dinner which he picked the restaurant was out of this world. I highly recommend the store.
This was a most relaxed, laid back trip! Had a wonderful time on our trip!! Maciej was super flexible and very knowledgeable about everything we saw! He took care of everything!!
We had a lot to smile about on this day trip from Berlin to Szczecin, Poland. Not only did we see historical buildings and sights of the city, but we made a friend in Maciej, our private guide. He handily gets five stars. First encounter at the hotel says it all with his easygoing personality and the prepared snacks and drinks in the car. The day of our tour was on a Monday when museums were closed but he made tweaks on the itinerary to where we saw and enjoyed Poland. We stopped at the Crooked Forest that got us bewildered. How the pine trees’ curved bases got to be beats us. But one thing we were sure of was the Polish hotdog we had as the best-tasting in the world - hands down! We dropped hints to Maciej that this particular hotdog will be big business in the United States. The hotdog’s czosnkowy (garlic) sauce was just a prelude to more great food tasting. Maciej showed us the port and the Oder River, Maritime School, Solidarity Square, Philharmonic Hall, and the charming Old Town Square. He took us to St. Jacob’s Church where we said our prayers and Totus Tuus to Pope John Paul II. That made our day already! But there was more to see at the Pomeranian Dukes Castle where we climbed up to a viewing terrace for a panoramic view of the town. Another treat was the tasting of different Polish donuts. We couldn’t resist the YUM bite after bite that a detour to city’s beautiful pier to walk off the sugar rush was a welcome thing. At day’s end was the highlight when we travelled to Międzyzdroje for the sea breeze, wharf stroll, the tasty peirogis, fish soup, tripe soup, and potato pancakes. All a delight! A good time we had that we are coming back to Poland for more. Another Travels with Maciej when we return to Poland for sure. - Lyle and Cleo
A personaliser tour with unique insider insights to Poland. Location, food, Maciej’s expert knowledge and friendly, caring personality made for a fantastic day!
Our private day tour from Berlin to Szczecin, Poland with Maciej couldn’t have been better. It as our first ever visit to Poland and didn’t disappoint. The pick up at our hotel was on time and hassle free. Maciej is very pleasant and personable going out of his way to make sure we were comfortable throughout the entire day. He is an extremely knowledgeable about German, Polish and European history and culture. He is fluent in English, German and Polish which is a definite plus. The drive was very comfortable and safe and allowed for plenty of time for questions and discussion of the historical and social events that have shaped the region. One of the first stops in Poland allowed my wife and I to taste a local Polish beer and a unique snack of the “best hotdog in Poland”. Both were quite delicious and and excellent snack. The Crooked Forest was a nice early and unique stop on our way to Szczecin. Szczecin itself was a very interesting typical smaller sized Polish city with an amazing history. We learned many things about the city during our time there but we surprised to find out the Solidarity movement and protests started there. As part of our tour we visited a museum dedicated to the history of the city including the German invasion and occupation and subsequent life under Soviet control in the post war period. One of the highlights of the day was the outstanding meal we had at the end of the tour in a very nice local restaurant featuring authentic polish food and drinks. The entire meal was delicious, the service outstanding and a perfect way to too off a really good tour. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Maciej was wonderful and a great tour guide. We couldn’t be more pleased and would highly recommend this tour to all.
Maciej was a FANTASTIC host and my husband and I had a wonderful day touring Szczecin with him. It was a full service day as he picked us up at our hotel in Berlin early in the morning and then we were on our way. Our first stop at the Crooked Forest was excellent and eye-opening - had never heard of this place before but so glad we were able to see it. We then went on in to town and through our conversation in the car ride Maciej knew we had an interest in history so he took us to some great spots for that. We did a great mid-day boat ride which was a perfect way to rest our feet for a while and we did the INCREDIBLY COOL tour of Szczecin's underground air raid shelter museum. We had dinner in the town square and got a great mix of delicious Polish dishes to close out the day before our drive back to Berlin. I could not recommend Maciej's tour including his bright personality and great knowledge higher.
This was a perfect experience from start to finish! Maciej is very knowledgeable and was accommodating for our full group. He welcomed and confirmed via email on pick up time. He’s a natural connector and made everyone feel at ease throughout the day. We felt like friends! Sites, food, and overviews were excellent. Highly recommend, was a major highlight of our trip. Would give more than 5 stars.
