Am Morgen erwartet Sie Ihr professioneller Guide zu einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt in der Lobby Ihres selbst gebuchten Hotels in Shanghai. Nach einer herzlichen Begrüßung werden Sie ca. 1,5 Stunden nach Suzhou gefahren. Der Reiseführer stellt Ihnen kurz Suzhou City vor, das als orientalisches Venedig gepriesen wird. Nach Ihrer Ankunft begleitet Sie Ihr Reiseleiter sofort zu einem Besuch des Humble Administrator's Garden, einem klassischen Garten voller anmutiger Szenen.
Anschließend besichtigen Sie die Altstadt von Suzhou. Wenn Sie auf dem Dreirad sitzen, können Sie einen schönen Blick auf die alten Konstruktionen werfen, die im Laufe der Jahre innerhalb des alten Blocks existierten. Das heutige Mittagessen ist nicht im Preis inbegriffen, aber der Reiseleiter kann Ihnen bei Bedarf verschiedene lokale Restaurants empfehlen.
Anschließend werden Sie in die antike Stadt Tongli geführt. Aufgrund der langen Geschichte und der sorgfältigen Erhaltung ist Tongli ein wunderbarer Ort, an dem Menschen den Glamour und Charme der Wasserstadt am Jangtsekiang in China genießen können. Hier endet Ihr privater Tagesausflug von Shanghai nach Suzhou. Anschließend begleitet Sie der Reiseleiter zurück zu Ihrem Hotel in der Innenstadt von Shanghai.

This was part of our 12-day private tour by Travel China Guide. Our local guide Ryan and driver shuttled us roundtrip from our hotel in Shanghai. We had a wonderful time visiting Suzhou and experiencing the Tongli water town. Ryan was very informative on history, culture, and architectural details. It was a great learning experience. A highly recommended day trip outside of Shanghai. It’s a unique experience to see a traditional water village and beautiful gardens. Our guide Chloe was informative and made sure we had all of our questions answered. We had the chance to meet local artists, and enjoy a traditional lunch. I would recommend the tour, and if you are lucky to get Chloe as your guide you will have a good time!

We had a very enjoyable day. We went to two different Classical Gardens. One of grand scale and lots of visitors and the other smaller and less crowded. The contrast allowed us to better appreciate the beauty and tranquility of classical Chinese garden. Our tour guide Ryan is knowledgeable, thoughtful and attentive, which enhanced the experience.

We had five days in Shanghai so we took this one day excursion trip to nearby Suzhou and the watertown of Tongli. It was a wonderful experience and our knowledgeable guide Martin enriched us with explanation of the cultural history of the gardens and mansions we toured. We ended the tour with a beautiful boat ride on the waterways of Tongli! Would certainly recommend this tour with Martin as your guide.
