Private Surfstunde

My son had a great time learning to surf. Tanner was an awesome instructor making him feel comfortable surfing! It is a well run business and we will definitely be back for more lessons!

We signed 13 yr old grandson up for a semi private lesson. There were others his age we noted on the board but we were told it had to be a private lesson for more money. It was OK but it feels like they do that when they have plenty of instructors available. . Mike was his instructor and he was great. Our grandson had a blast and got up on his second try. It looked like all the instructors were kind and good teachers.

My son first time in the ocean had a blast and the instructor had him on the board and catching a wave in no time.

Cody was fantastic; great equipment, safe, fun, and totally customized. Will 100% be back. Surf lesson at sunset is the way to go for a beautiful experience.

Outstanding experience! Jayden was a great instructor. Equipment was excellent and communication and instructions leading up were fantastic. Highly recommend.

I had the BEST time surfing with the San Diego Surf School! The Aussie Alex was an awesome instructor, breaking down the steps and helping me to be safe, learn the basics of surfing, and have a blast catching the waves. This was my 6th time surfing (surfed in New Hampshire, Maui, and Sayulita, Mexico and this was by far the most productive lesson and the most fun as I caught a lot of waves. For anyone looking to learn how to surf in the San Diego area this is a great place. The customer service getting set up was friendly and easy too.

This was the first time that I surf. I am taught some know-how of riding on wave. After a little rolling, I could make it. I made a precious weekend memory, and yes surfing is my favorite now:D

The instructor was great and he helped me a lot. He gave me great comments and was helpful. In the beginning, he told me the easy stuff. Then we went out and he helped a lot

Myself and my 11 year old son had private lessons. Jake and Luke were our instructors. They were so great and patient and encouraging. We loved them. My son said it was the biggest adrenaline rush and funnest thing in his life! Haha and we do a lot of things :) The location is close to the beach like you'd hope and expect but that does come with the challenges of beach parking so either Uber over or give yourself plenty of extra time to find a spot. Highly recommend, we had the best time!

I like the young coaches and the beaches where I surf。It would be nice to have a place to shower. In addition, please inform the trainees that they need to arrive early first.
