Während Sie auf dem oberen Sambesi-Fluss fahren, werden Sie auch den Nebel der magischen Victoriafälle sehen. Der Sambesi ist der viertlängste Fluss Afrikas, der längste östlich fließende Fluss Afrikas und der größte, der von Afrika in den Indischen Ozean mündet. Der 2.574 Kilometer lange Fluss (1.599 Meilen) entspringt in Sambia und fließt durch Ostangola, entlang der Nordostgrenze Namibias und der Nordgrenze Botswanas, dann entlang der Grenze zwischen Sambia und Simbabwe nach Mosambik, wo er die Land in den Indischen Ozean münden. Das bekannteste Merkmal des Sambesi sind die Victoriafälle.
Dieser Park besteht aus 40 km der Sambesi-Flussfront und einer Vielzahl von Wildtieren, einem reichen Mopane-Wald und einer Savanne im Landesinneren. Our dinner cruise was a very special evening thanks to our Captain Maurice and Server Nichole. Unlike the big boats, this is a very small very individual private experience. And because we had a small boat our Captain was able to bring us close to shore for excellent wildlife viewing and photography. We saw numerous hippos, two giant crocodiles, a beautiful heard of zebras, and more bird species than I can count. With all the sightings Captain and Nichole spotted them way before we did and moved our boat into ideal position for viewing and photography. All the while, Nichole continued to bring an excellent leisurely dinner and kept our drinks fresh. This was a very memorable experience we will never forget. Thanks Maurice and Nichole.

Yesterday afternoon our group of 6 had a private sunset cruise on the Zambezi. Yolanda and Audrey were the fantastic captain and crew of our boat. They were professional, friendly, knowledgeable and took excellent care of us from spotting wildlife to supplying us with drinks and delicious canapés. We saw lots of hippos, a few crocodiles and an elephant plus the beautiful sunset. Thank you Yolanda and Audrey for an unforgettable experience. I am very glad we decided to do the private tour on the small boat. I should also mention that we were picked up from our hotel and dropped off after our cruise so the whole experience from start to finish was excellent.

Doing a private cruise on a small boat gave us the opportunity to access more secluded sections of the river, which allowed us to see animals up close. Our skipper, Elvis, and our hostess, Patience, was very friendly and efficient and Elvis was very knowledgeable on the river and its animals. It was a lovely experience and I highly recommend it. Sunset on the Zambezi is a must-do experience.

Very well organized. Knowledgeable and friendly crew. Excellent canapés—sushi and selection of small burgers, chicken kebabs, quiche and more. Cruised near shore line to see variety of wildlife—hippos, crocs, openbill storks, bee-eaters and more. Splendid sunset. Nice to be just the family, rather than larger boat.

Awesome trip on the Sambesi with a small boat, very romantic and exclusive! The crew with Captain Yolanda was great, taking care about our wishes and made some great wildlife sights (elephants, hippos, crocodiles and many birds). Food was very good as well!

Sharon, our hostess, and Captain Elvis, could not have been nicer. The captain saw how we were interested in birds and so he made a special effort to find and identify them. The food was very good and beautifully presented. A lovely personal experience!
