Private Street-Art-Tour durch Atlanta

We thoroughly enjoyed the private street art tour of Atlanta. Chris was very knowledgeable about the history of murals and graffiti in Atlanta. I recommend the tour both for those new to Atlanta and long time residents.

I took a 3 hour private street art tour of Atlanta with Chris as a solo visitor to Atlanta. He picked me up from my hotel and we went driving all over different neighborhoods. We started in Midtown and then he took me to/through (in no particular order) Inman Park, Cabbagetown, Old Fourth Ward, Russellville, Sweet Auburn, Little Five Points, and East Atlanta. We also stopped at the Beltline and walked through the Krog Street Tunnel. He left it up to me how much I wanted to walk around at each stop. He pointed out all kinds of landmarks (like Ponce City Market and Krog Street Market) and explained how the Beltline is helping to reshape Atlanta into a less car centric city. Chris is a street artist himself and is friends with many of the well known street artists in Atlanta. Chris gave me so much information about the street art scene, weaving in some rap history and history of Atlanta in general as we were driving around. He pointed out all kinds of amazing details in the murals that I would never be aware of on my own. We were also able to briefly pop into an art gallery in East Atlanta called ABV Gallery that had just opened and checked out the exhibit, which had work by some Atlanta street artists. It was truly an incredible tour experience and I would recommend this to anybody. Chris really made me fall in love with Atlanta. Do yourself a favor and try to book him on your first day in town if you aren't familiar with the city. This tour is a great "Atlanta 101" experience and Chris can help you identify what else you might like to see/do on your trip. He also is quietly doing an assessment of your interests while taking you around to customize the tour in real time based on your reactions! I did a street art tour with Chris and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. He didn’t just show me murals — he connected the city’s history with the street art scene in a way that made everything come alive. His knowledge of Atlanta, the artists, and the stories behind the pieces was incredible. He took me through several really cool locations, and we even got lucky enough to see a few artists working on their murals in real time. That was something special. I enjoyed every moment of the tour and I couldn’t recommend it enough. If you want the perfect mix of culture, storytelling, and amazing art, Chris is the one to go with.

I love street art and thought this would be a fun way to learn about the art scene in Atlanta. We saw so many cool murals and learned about a lot local artists. I even followed a few of them online so I could keep up with their work. We took this and the movie tour while we were visiting for Thanksgiving and it was a really fun way to learn about Atlanta.

We had a great time on our tour! Chris was our guide and he absolutely knew his stuff. He picked us up in a comfortable, clean car and even had some waters for us. This was a lot of fun and I highly recommend it!

Chris was awesome! He is very knowledgeable of the street art scene but also of the city of Atlanta in general. We felt like we got more than our money’s worth with all the fun extra stuff he threw in to be sure we had a great time and got what we wanted out of it. We walked away with a good understanding of Atlanta and appreciation for the art. Fun fact: Chris is an artist too so he personally knows quite a few of the mural artists and can tell you a little more about their story. There is so much more we want to see & do in Atlanta after Chris gave us a great introduction. We will be back for more & will take another of his tours. Highly recommend!
