Nach dem Frühstück treffen Sie Ihren lokalen Fahrer und lokalen Tourexperten in Ihrer Hotellobby und beginnen Ihre ganztägige Stadtrundfahrt durch Delhi. Ankunft an der Jama-Moschee, die zwischen 1644 und 1656 vom Mogulkaiser Shah Jahan erbaut wurde. Die Baukosten betragen 1 Million Rupien. Es wurde von mehr als 5000 Arbeitern gebaut. Sie ist eine der größten Moscheen Indiens. Später besuchen Sie den Chandani Chowk Basar, eine Straße in Delhi, die für ihren Lebensmittelgroßhandel und Asiens größten Gewürzgroßmarkt bekannt ist, auf dem alle Gewürze, Nüsse, Kräuter und Lebensmittel wie Reis und Tee verkauft werden. Besuchen Sie nun das India Gate, das zu den größten Kriegsdenkmälern Indiens zählt. Es befindet sich im Zentrum von Neu-Delhi und wurde 1921 von Edwin Lutyens erbaut. Es erinnert an die Mitglieder der ehemaligen Britisch-Indischen Armee. Später fahren Sie durch das Präsidentenhaus, auch bekannt als Rashtrapati Bhavan (Präsidentenhaus), früher bekannt als Vizekönigshaus, ist das offizielle Zuhause des Präsidenten von Indien und befindet sich am westlichen Ende des Raj-Pfads in Neu-Delhi, Indien.
Jetzt besuchen Sie Humayuns Grab, Humayuns Grab ist das Grab des Mogulkaisers Humayun in Delhi, Indien. Das Grab wurde 1569-70 von Humayuns erster Frau und Hauptgemahlin, Kaiserin Biga Begum, in Auftrag gegeben. Nach Abschluss Ihres Hamayun-Grabbesuchs werden Sie zu einem der besten Restaurants von Delhi gebracht, um Ihr indisches Mittagsbuffet zu genießen. Später besuchen Sie Qutb Minar. Sein roter und buffiger Standstein ist der höchste Turm in Indien. Qutbu'd-Din Aibak legte im Jahre 1199 die Basis von Minar für die Verwendung des Mu'azzin (Schreier) für Gebetsrufe.
Jetzt besuchen Sie den Lotus-Tempel, der sich im Stadtzentrum befindet und ein Bahai-Gotteshaus ist, das im Dezember 1986 eingeweiht wurde und 10 Millionen Dollar gekostet hat. Bemerkenswert für seine blumenartige Form, ist es zu einer herausragenden Attraktion in der Stadt geworden. Nach dem Besuch des Lotus-Tempels werden Sie zum Abholpunkt zurückgebracht.

Nikhil was an excellent guide and host. He is knowledgeable and informative. We also had a lot fun looking around Old Delhi with him. Like you will find generally with these kinds of tours they take you to places to buy from associates and it can add up quickly, so don’t be afraid to say ‘no’. Products were good though. I would recommend this tour. Great driver as well with Manoj.

Spent the day exploring Delhi and Chandi Chowk with tour guide Nawin and driver Raj! They both took care of everything from start to finish so I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Nawin was extremely knowledgeable and was able to tell me so many facts about the places we visited which included Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, Jama Mosque, and Humayun’s Tomb. I truly had a great day seeing new sights and am grateful for both Nawin and Raj for their time! I highly recommend working with them both if you’re visiting Delhi!
Great tour through New and Old Delhi. My tour guide and driver were super friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The Old Delhi part was a cool experience as we walked and took an auto through the narrow winding streets. The main markets were closed on Sunday (if you want to see the spice markets definitely take the tour any day but Sunday), but the streets were still busy with informal and colorful markets. In New Delhi we saw many of the large attractions and were able to skip the big lines as foreigners. The tour was super flexible and tailored for my interests.
This day long tour of Old and New Delhi on 17 Mar 24, was excellent and struck just the right balance between sharing detailed historical knowledge and explaining life in present day India. We see our guide Nick as a friend and hopefully he will keep his promise to come visit us in Newcastle Upon Tyne sometime. We highly recommend this tour guide service. David & Jane Miller.

We had a wonderful day with our guide Manu and driver Raj touring both the Old and New Delhi. Everything worked well with the logistics, from the pick up at the hotel, and morning rickshaw ride through the old city, and it continued throughout the rest if the day. They made accommodations on our request, and tailored the tour cor us on the fly. In particular, we really appreciated that they respected our request not to visit any stores or factory outlets, since we made it clear from the beginning that we are not looking to buying anything, and want to spend the precious time we have on more genuine experiences. Manu is a good and engaging guide, and excellent photographer too, so we leave with a lot of great memories, both in our hearts and on our phone. Thanks, Jojen & Peter
