Die Tour beinhaltet eine Panoramatour, gefolgt von einem Besuch des historischen Teils der Stadt, zwischen seinen verwinkelten Gassen und steilen Treppen, Höhlenhäusern armer Leute und majestätischen Barockpalästen des Adels, Gemüsegärten und weiten Terrassen, zwischen denen plötzlich jämmerliche Kamine liegen und seltsame Glocken erscheinen in unterirdischen Kirchen. Die Tour dauert 2-3 Stunden und beinhaltet einen Besuch des Felsenhaus-Museums der traditionellen bäuerlichen Kultur und des Lebens von Matera (die Kosten für den Gruppeneintritt betragen 2€). Während der Tour besteht die Möglichkeit, an einem der charakteristischen Orte in den Höhlen Halt zu machen, um typische Produkte der lukanischen Küche zu probieren. Excellent Tour with Natalia – June Visit We visited in June and had the pleasure of having Natalia as our travel guide. Itanata organised a very great tour in Puglia + Matera We visited Bari , Polignano Al Mare , Monopoli , Alberobello , Locorotondo , Matera , Acqua Viva Delle Fonti , Lecce , Otranto , Gallipoli … Very good planning , detailed explanations - specially on the key historical / touristic points . Superb reviews on the churches history and their architecture . Also time to stop in selected places for lunch , dinner and visit to wine producers .
