Private Tour für bis zu 10 Personen, ideal für Paare, Freundesgruppen oder Familien. Vom traditionellen Sonnenuntergangsspaziergang bis hin zu einer 2-stündigen Morgen- oder Nachmittagstour. Nachdem wir den Alcântara-Hafen verlassen haben, erreichen wir unsere erste Sehenswürdigkeit: die Praça do Comércio (Handelsplatz). Nehmen Sie sich ein paar Minuten Zeit, um tief durchzuatmen und den Charme dieses Teils von Lissabon auf sich wirken zu lassen. Flussabwärts fuhren wir am Südufer entlang, wo wir einen nahen Blick auf die majestätische Christus-König-Statue werfen konnten, die Lissabon segnet! Als Nächstes kamen wir am berühmten Belém-Turm vorbei. Weiter flussaufwärts passieren wir eines der wichtigsten Denkmäler Lissabons, das Entdeckerdenkmal. Als nächstes besuchen wir das Elektrizitätsmuseum und das MAAT – Museum für Kunst, Architektur und Technologie. Die Tour führt unter der berühmten Brücke des 25. April hindurch. Wieder in der Nähe der Praça do Comércio erreichten wir den Höhepunkt unserer Tour: einen atemberaubenden Sonnenuntergang... Nach Sonnenuntergang kehren wir zum Anleger von Alcântara zurück.

An prominenter Stelle am rechten Ufer des Flusses Tejo wurde 1940 anlässlich der portugiesischen Weltausstellung das ursprüngliche Denkmal aus vergänglichen Materialien errichtet, um die historischen Persönlichkeiten zu ehren, die an den portugiesischen Entdeckungen beteiligt waren. Die aktuelle Nachbildung aus Beton und Stein stammt später und wurde 1960 eingeweiht.
Das MAAT – Museum für Kunst, Architektur und Technologie wurde im Oktober 2016 im Rahmen der Kulturförderungspolitik der EDP Foundation eröffnet und ist eine internationale Institution, die sich der Förderung des kritischen Diskurses und der kreativen Praxis widmet
Die 25 de Abril-Brücke ist eine Straßen-Schienen-Hängebrücke über den Fluss Tejo, die die Stadt Lissabon (Nordufer) mit der Stadt Almada (Südufer) in Portugal verbindet. Die Brücke ist 2.277 m lang. Mit einer freien Spannweite von 1.013 m ist die Ponte 25 de Abril die 33. größte Hängebrücke der Welt. Es wurde am 6. August 1966 eröffnet
Praça do Comércio, auch heute noch allgemein unter seinem früheren Namen Terreiro do Paço bekannt, ist ein Platz in der Innenstadt von Lissabon am Fluss Tejo, in der Gegend, in der sich etwa zwei Jahrhunderte lang der Palast der Könige von Portugal befand das heute teilweise von einigen Regierungsstellen besetzt ist.
Die Idee, das Christus-König-Denkmal zu errichten, entstand 1934 während eines Besuchs des damaligen Kardinal-Patriarchen von Lissabon, D. Manuel Gonçalves Cerejeira, in Brasilien. Als er durch Rio de Janeiro fuhr, sah er das imposante Bild von Christus dem Erlöser auf dem Corcovado und der Wunsch, ein ähnliches Projekt vor Lissabon zu errichten, wurde in seinem Herzen geboren. Der Grundstein für den Bau des Denkmals wurde am 18. Dezember 1949, nach Kriegsende, gelegt. Es wurde am 17. Mai 1959 eröffnet. Dieses Denkmal ist der beste Aussichtspunkt über die Stadt Lissabon und bietet einen weiten Blick über die Hauptstadt und die Brücke 25 de Abril. In zahlreichen Touristenberichten über Lissabon taucht das Heiligtum und Denkmal für Christus den König, Almadas Wahrzeichen, auf.

This was the most fun we've ever had! All my sister wanted to do for her birthday was a private sunset boat cruise and this one exceeded our expectations! Paulo and Kelly went out of their way to make her birthday special even though I only told them about it day ot. They gave us free wine and sparkling rose and even got her a cute birthday muffin with a candle. This was so thoughtful and personalized. It you get a chance, detinitely prioritize this cruise. They also took us past the most beautiful destinations and adjusted the time a little so that we were on the water perfectly at sunset time. We telt so taken care of and special. The sail boat was beautiful and we got the most amazing photos. So many core memories were made! Do this cruise with Paulo and Kelly!!
We had such a wonderful time with Paulo and Kelly - it was a private booking for my family (two adults and two kids, ages 7 and 9). And then we also had a family friend with us. Paulo and Kelly were wonderful hosts, accommodating our last-minute booking. Their boat was beautiful - the perfect size for our group. They treated us with desserts and croquettes and drinks and sailed us up and down the coast of Lisbon. We had a relaxing time and would absolutely recommend the experience!

This was a fantastic experience in Lisbon. The sunset cruise was beautiful and so relaxing. As a family of five, our teens loved it too. Frederico and Fernando were excellent tour guides. Very knowledgeable about sailing, the area for both history and cool things to do as a local. We opted in for the Portuguese tapas, well worth it. We will do this again with this provider the next time we are back! Highly recommend. Communication prior to the event also very easy through what’s app.

Our group of 5 wanted to do a private sunset sail our first evening after arriving in Lisbon, and Sun Sea Sail tours met all our needs. We ordered the optional charcuterie board, which was huge and full of delicious meats, cheeses, spreads, olives, nuts, grapes, and breads, and more than enough for 5 passengers. I had contacted Sun Sea Sail when I booked the cruise to ask if they could accommodate my need to be gluten-free, and they were amazing — wheat bread for my traveling companions was served in a separate basket (not on the serving platter with everything else), and I got my own basket of GF bread that I could eat. Unfortunately, when you order the charcuterie platter, they are unable to hoist the sail because it could potentially canter the boat and the food would slide off the table. But we very much enjoyed our snack (plus a bottle of wine), and watched the other sailboats sail off into the sun. Our captain and co-captain were helpful pointing out the sites along the river, and we enjoyed a beautiful and relaxing ride on the water. We love supporting local small businesses, and highly recommend this husband-wife sail tour!

MOST definitely the BEST and most memorable excursion in Portugal. VERY Lovely sailors/crew, Paulo and Kelly, whom provided my family and I exceptional hospitality and entertainment. Even though it was very windy, the crews cater to our needs. Paulo stayed behind to ensure an iPhone was retrieved by the scuba diver after it was dropped at the dock. Thank you so much for making the sunset sail the most memorable event of our family vacation. P.S. This review is entered with the iPhone recovered from the dock after submerged under water for 3 hours. 😂👍
